I purchased several of these panels to install on my back porch. I took measurements carefully and planned the project as the panels would have to hang on my stucco block walls about 10' in the air. I was not sure if it was gong to be possible to hang them by myself, since they are 8 feet long, and I would be working 10' up on ladders, and by myself.First, the packaging of the panels was excellent. They were wrapped with multiple layers of good cardboard, and sealed well. More importantly, the seal, with the tape to cut, was completely shielded from the interior wrap, containing the merchandise. So even if you were careless cutting back the wrap, you would not damage the contents. I really liked that.The quality of the panels was better than I expected. I thought they might be like a cheap dish towel quality o something... Not so, very nice synthetic fiber woven design and appears that it will be very resistant to sun and water exposure. this is important since I am in Florida.the installation instructions were extremely simple and once I formulated how to go about the task by myself, again, 10' up on ladder, the install went easily and flawlessly. They look great, they appear durable and of good quality. Don't be afraid to buy this

The color is perfect. Like it was made for my porch. It was fairly easy to hang once I realized the bracket could be removed from the plastic (to allow use of a drill). The bottom rail rings also does the job. It’s opaque enough and still allows air flow. When there’s wind or severe weather I’ll roll it up otherwise it’s staying fully extended. Also, the temp reduction is amazing- very noticeable.

Needed to buy another patio shade for our deck. But the company that we bought our other three from went out of business so I ordered this one. This one is super well made and high quality material compared to the other three we originally ordered!! Would have ordered all from this company if I known this in advanced. I highly recommend buying this brand.

I use these shades on the outside of my home to block sun from heating up my living and dining rooms. Fast forward to a friend who has about five windows that are 6'x6' that need window treatments. I ordered one to install and these work just as well indoors as they do outdoors. It has cut the heat coming into the farm house through a west facing window. Absolutely amazing. We ordered the shade with the chain pulley instead of the rod crank to lower and lift the shade. We also tested it at dark to see if a person outside could see in and it provides good privacy. We will be ordering 4 more for the remaining windows. Quite economical too compared to traditional window treatments.

The material seems to be lighter but very easy to install and use. I got another one which has the draw rod to pull the shades up and down but its a time consuming process. This has a string to pull either to pull up or down which in no time get the job done.

Do not waste your money on this. It is a terrible design at the base that requires a small amount of fabric to stay in the base. I had this hung for 30 minutes and almost zero wind. The stitching on end came loose and now the fabric just falls through the hole. Whoever designed this should be fired. Open hole, fabric and gravity….. not a good combo. Dont waste your money. Already set up the return.
