About this item

  • 【About Measurement】Please refer to the diagrams before purchasing. You’ll need to leave 0.5-1 ft of space for accessories to avoid buying an oversized shade. Due to the characteristics of this fabric, there may be a tolerance of ±2 inch from the outer edge of one D-ring to the outer edge of the other D-ring
  • 【Waterproof】The shade sail is made of 160GSM PES material, PU coated, blocks up to 98% of UV rays, and has a shade rate of 90%- 95% (white series 85%-90%). It is resistant to light rain and has a water pressure resistance of 400 kPa. Please do not use it in heavy rain or storms
  • 【Installation】Waterproof shade sails need to be installed at a 30-degree angle with maximum tension to allow run off and face up. Otherwise the water may accumulate and affect the use of the shade canopy
  • 【Splicing Process】To improve the waterproof performance, we use hot-melt adhesive and splicing process. Most sizes consist of two pieces of shade fabric, but you don't have to worry about leaks at the splice
  • 【Customizable】We offer various sizes of customized waterproof shade sails to meet your shade needs in different areas. If you have any questions about our products, please contact us. And please note that hardware is not included

We have two of these: one just for shade and one waterproof; well made and useful. Love them! The turquoise is beautiful here in Miami.

Love this shade sail! It is very nice quality and is heavier than similar sails I had used before. It offers great sun protection and is waterproof! I was amazed at how well this performs in heavy rain.

High quality. Definitely withstands the rain and allows no water through. MUST have the proper angle or it will sag. MUST be very tight or will sag. I wouldn’t buy waterproof again. Very hard to hit the right angle, but the waterproof did its job as described.

I love this product. Good quality, sturdy, affordable and looks great on my patio. Water does pool in the middle a little bit but that could be because of install error. Other than that I couldn’t be happier with it.

Not as waterproof as I thought. Mostly used for a well lit shaded area.

The sun here fades and destroys everything so when I’m looking at outdoor furnishings I demand high durability; this tarp feels just like Sunbrella or similar textile. The center seam has waterproof tape on it; thank you for that! The workmanship is very good and sewn on a heavy duty machine, with heavy hardware and backstitching where it counts. The last thin tarp lasted a year and a half and showed a lot of fading; it had tiny rips after minor abrasions from a supporting pole. This tarp should last the full seasons or more. Well worth the money!
