Waited for A While to Submit this review. Just wanted to give a few months to be certain of the quality and application. I can truly say that, "I'm a Happy Customer" for sure! It's held up very well through some significant Wind Storms and seems to be able to handle just about anything Mother Nature has thrown at it. We live in Phoenix AZ, so no snow! But Sun, Rain, and Wind seem to be, No Worries!! Happy Camper Here!!

Perfect size, great quality, easy to install, blocks the sun, and the lights adds to the beauty. We are very pleased. The price was great, and it arrived in just a few days. The color is perfect also!

Edit:A comment about longevity. I was naturally suspicious as to how long it would be before this awning started falling apart. You know, how long before the hold downs would rust and fall apart. How long before the material would waster away in the ultraviolet light. Well, I have an answer: FOREVER.Ha ha. Well maybe not that long. But this awning is unbelievably tough. For the past six months we have had very very high winds in the area. The awning has been just tortured by these vicious winds. It whip it up, down, and sideways. I thought for sure the awning would tear, or that the grommets would rip out. The long side of the awning did finally peel away one inch of material. But even that wound did not defeat it. It's still hanging out over the car, flapping in the breeze.Original reviewThis is a good shade. The 4 end points with the attachment rings are very strong. Still, the shade tends to sag in the middle, and there are no grommets if you want to secure the shade in other locations. Enter the tarp clip. If any side of your shade is against or near a structure you can attach tarp clips at any random location to give you an instant attachment point.I've used tarp clips with bungee cords for years under my mattress to keep the sheets tight (I know, I know). When I recently purchased a sun shade and it was sagging in the middle I knew the perfect solution. Sure enough, the clips hold tight to a good chunk of the material. I ordered these a few times. The first set lasted through an Arizona summer. I did order the insurance but had a hard time returning them so I just bought new ones. We left them up all year long. So they are very durable and they still look great.

I love the shade this thing gives me. And although I'm sad the area it lets water come through happens to be right over top my hammock, it does let less water come through and it keeps the area sooo much cooler. I feel like it has stretched a bit, so I'm going to have to redrill new holes because the screw thingy tighten it can only reduce the sag by so much. But we just had a hurricane come through and although this was only a category one, it did more damage than the category 5 that came several years back- the winds were incredible. Half the trees in the neighborhood landed in a different neighbor's house. I'm telling you, crazy strong gusts wind. And although the cheap carabineer hooks I used were bent all the way open, the sail itself is still in perfect condition.

I bought a sun shade a while back, but it was sagging in the middle. I thought it had been my fault for ordering the wrong size. I ordered another one, This time I measured everything and made sure to get one That was just a foot smaller than the area.The 1st day I put it up, I tightened it as much as I could and it looked fine. After about 2 weeks, the middle of it sagged as well. All of the edges are very tight so I can't stretch it any more, but the middle part still sags to the point where it touches the top of the car. The area I have it in is about 8 feet high And the middle comes down to about 5 feet off the floor.If you're putting it on a very high point, you probably won't notice and it should be fine But if you're putting it up less than 10 feet in the air, I don't recommend it.It does provide a decent amount of shade while still letting the light through.

I was looking for something that we could install on the side of our patio cover, as we get sun from the east. This was a great price, the right size, and very sturdy. It installed fairly easily (we attached to the edge of the aluminum patio cover at the top and to the deck boards on the bottom) and it's working out great. We spend more time on the deck in the morning because of this and I keep saying "money well spent". I don't know how this would work out for a top shade cover, but it sure works well to shade when the sun is low.

Love the sand colour Arrived a little late but I was okay with that. The size 10 x 10’ is not the fabric size. The fabric is a few inches smaller. But once you attach the proper fixings to the fabric and tension it then measures 10x10 ft Works Great for us and is well made
