My patio gets a lot of direct sun (which is great) but it heats up quickly and it is very difficult to use it starting May/June. It doesn't have enough space for an umbrella and I tried a curtain but it wouldn't hold.This sun shade has solved this problem! It is large enough to cover most of the area, comes with grommets to hook it up and does a fabulous job upto 80-83 F temperatures! We've used the patio so much after adding this!It doesn't look particularly appealing, but we don't mind that since we really needed to block the sun and this is doing the job!There is a huge comfort difference in the area shaded by this shade and that in direct sun. I've actually managed to not turn on the AC even at a couple of 90 degree days due to this.I definitely recommend this to save energy, block sun and still enjoy your outdoor space on relatively warmer days.

Let me tell you about this product! It's now been about a year since we've had these. We have a pavilion in our backyard. We wanted privacy. Bought these, put them up, and have to rave on these. It gives us the privacy we needed and wanted. Here is what I want to brag on. We had a tornado come through last May. The tornado winds pulled our plants out of the ground. Broke our tree in half. These screens didn't budge! Nothing! Didn't come loose, tear, didn't even come untied. We love these.

Not waterproof but still keeps some rain from coming in with heavy rainfall.Helps block sunlight but still somewhat see through. Great privacy screen for my balcony.

We bought this to add to the screening of our outdoor backyard patio. It fills the entire side closest to the sun in the Afternoons. Blocks the horribly bright sun on porch when trying to read or watch a small house campfire.

I’m able to adjust the AC temperature by 4 degrees because one half of the house is no longer being baked by the Texas sun. I can’t imagine what the people with the 2 story, dark blue exterior, have to deal withThese have survived some relatively intense rain and wind so far, but it has only been about a month so I’ll update if anything major happens in the next year.

Seems to help with shade and true to size. Reason for 4 stars it did have a small hole in the material next to one of the rivets. Only have had for short time so will see how it holds up . We used zip ties to hold it on. It did come with some ties but we felt zip ties would work better.

Probably not bad, but I decided to return it and order a good old bamboo store instead, maybe more expensive, but also better looking and just better overall. I also wanted the ability to open and close it easily. But this sun shade will be fine for many uses. Size was ok. It has a plastic finish I didn't really like. Your call.
