I packed 8 bearings no problem. This unit works just as good as the one I had 50 years ago (no, I don't know what happened to that one). This is a GOOD tool!

It is awesome for small bearings. But I work on tanker trailers. They either usually have a smaller and bigger bearing in each wheel or 2 bigger bearings in each wheel. This product was very good for the smaller bearing, but only filled up half of the bigger bearing. I will be looking for a bigger grease packer now. Overall, it is an awesome tool to have!

I needed to replace the wheel bearings on my trailer, therefore I purchased the bearing packer to ensure the bearings would be greased properly before installation. The item came with everything shown in the photo. It was (3) pieces and was easy to assemble. (Less than a minute) The only complaint I have about this item is that the knurling on the tool is not enough to get adequate compression on the bearing to ensure the grease went through the rollers of the bearing. It ended up squeezing out primarily through the top. However, it did pack through the rollers completely once I pumped enough grease through it. If you use a pair of channel locks on it, it seams to work flawlessly.I would recommend it to anyone in need of a bearing packer. I would just give them this heads up prior to their first time using it.

Is durable since it's made out of metal, and works good. My only complaint is that the two discs are pretty big, it would be a little easier to use if they were closer to 3 inches but I wasn't able to find one that size. Overall this does what it is intended to do.

I read some other reviews of the edge sharpness and that's true for the bottom section on the circumference. A quick 5 minute fix by running sand paper around the edge to smooth the edge. I still give it 5 stars because it makes a simple job of packing bearings and is so affordable. Make sure the center screw post doesn't back out on you when removing and installing the top piece over the bearing

This is total garbage. I attached the shaft to the bottom plate although some of the threads were very tight. When I tried to attach the top plate to the shaft, the entire shaft started to back-out of the bottom plate because the threads of the top plate were not cut very well. After several attempts to use this I gave up and decided to just pack my bearings by hand. Don't waste your time on this bearing packer! Pay the price and purchase a quality grease packer if you are determined to have a bearing grease packer. There is NOTHING DELUXE about this contraption. Obviously someone else had returned this one whereas it was already open when I received it. Another "MADE IN CHINA" and no quality control.

I had always hand packed wheel bearings so I thought I’d try a packer. It worked quite well except I didn’t tighten the lower flange and when I spun on the bearing and upper flange it unscrewed enough to allow the grease to come out the bottom. Other than that it works well.
