This is a pretty essential tool to remove or install tight press fitted bearings. There are a number of suppliers of absolutely identical tools under different brand names on amazon. I chose this supplier for free 1day shipping. Harbour freight and AutoZone sell what appear to be identical tools at a higher price than the $42 I paid here. I used this tool to replace bearings on a Maytag Neptune front loader washing machine. This made the removing and fitting new bearings trivial even though the old bearing were corroded and stuck extremely tight. To remove the smaller of the bearings in the hub I used two washers (not supplied) which just fitted through the larger bearing and could rest on lip of smaller bearing to pull bearing against this tools cup.The parts of this tool are very heavy duty . The only problem encountered was the screw seemed to have a rough patch near the start with a bit more friction than the rest meaning I had to use a wrench there instead of initially tightening by hand

This is a review for Bearing Press 19pc Wheel Bearing Press Kit Universal Wheel Bearing Removal Tool Fit for Front Wheel Drive Cars.This is a decent kit. IT covers the majority of bearings you will come across. It also includes several additional components for those stubborn ones that need a little more space to come out. The materials seem very strong and durable. There is no slack in the threads, and they operate very smoothly.My only issue, as I have had with other tools, is the case. The plastic seems very think and prone to distortion from age and/or heat. And the absolute biggest issue is the flap that they pass off as a hinge. This very quickly crack or rip making the case useless to maintain and will allow the part to quickly scatter to the four corners ultimately, depending on the lost component, making the overall kit useless over time.
