After a catastrophic failure of an OEM Harley bearing on the front wheel of my FLHTCU at 23k miles I started evaluating my options. I could take the wheel to my local Indy shop and pay about $100 to replace the bearings, take it to a local Harley shop and pay $200, or do it myself for far less. I like doing my own wrenching when I can because I'm under no schedule or production pressure and trust myself to be nit picky more than I trust the average tech in a shop. I looked at the tools available and had initially leaned toward the OTC version at about $50 more than this because I have found OTC typically makes a better quality tool than the cheaper knock offs. After reading several less than stellar reviews regarding the workmanship of the OTC and it's country of origin, a very large country not in North America, I decided to look at the cheaper tools available from that large country not in N. America. How I settled on this one was a little bit of a crapshoot based on reviews, price, and availability when I wanted it. I'm very happy that I picked this one. The apparent workmanship left nothing to be desired and it works flawlessly. My only beef is that it takes several sizes of wrench to operate, including a long 8mm allen wrench to tighten the puller collet, but those probably aren't significant factors for the average person who works on their own vehicles, I had everything needed in my tool boxes. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase, I have no indication that this tool won't last through hundreds of bearing changes.

I used this tool to remove and install front and rear wheel bearings on my 2007 harley davidson night train. It worked great. Easy to use. Made of great quality. I highly recommend when replacing bearings. The hell with beating and banging to remove or when replacing bearings. Make the job safer. This is the right tool for the job. And good tools make the job. Look no further. Do yourself a favor and invest in one. Even if you only use it once a year or everyday. It's worth it's weight in gold.

worked great on my bike but would have been helpful to give some instruction. i had to refer to another brand to find instruction. but for the price it did the job. make sure you put oil on the thread to prevent any issue. also you need a 1-1/16 wrench for the big nut and a 5/8 for the other one. the installing part used a size between 19 mm and 3/4". i did not have a wrench that would fit right so i used a large adjustable wrench.

Worked great for the front wheel bearings on my 2016 street bob. The lack of instructions weren't an issue. Honestly I feel that anyone who can't figure our how to use this should get someone who knows how to use one or look it up on YouTube.Wish I'd bought this ahead of time and not tried to pull the bearings without it, since I screwed up the bearing spacer.

The kit works. It’s not a “top grade” tool, but it works. The puller is too short to do the recessed pulley side of a wide hub, so pull the other side first and smack the recessed side out in reverse.Make sure you grease the hell out of the forcing screw, it seems a bit soft…
