Great if you want to give a long lasting treat, or distracting your pup. Natural peanut, almond butter, or cooked sweet potato is great smeared on the mats. Easy to clean. Grip the floor well so they don't slide around. Dogs love them.

Our son has one of these pads for his Aussie and we’ve used it when pet sitting and need a few minutes to have dinner uninterrupted.I got these for my sister who has two doodles. They are easy to clean (dishwasher safe), they suction to the floor, it takes a very small amount of peanut butter (or whatever treat you prefer) to keep your pet occupied as they lick every last morsel out of the indentations, handy to pack for trips.Worth every penny!

My 135 pound Cane Corso had surgery to repair a torn ligament and will be in a crate and dog pen for 12 weeks while healing. He is not used to being in a crate, so I got him this lick mat hoping it would help with anxiety. First- I love that it came with 2! His little sister can enjoy a lick pad! ( she loved every second of it) Second- it definitely IS calming. My dog, who is currently on pain, anxiety and anti inflammatory medications (gracious me) flopped down , slowly licked every single morsel of the doggy peanut butter. He was thrilled. Third- it’s dishwasher safe. Fourth- it sticks to the floor. Get this!! It’s such a wonderful product.

2024 UPDATE: Updating to 5 stars because my dog and I love these things. I think it seemed like the suction was gone at first because if you freeze the pad and it freezes in a weird shape the suction isn’t great. But freeze it completely flat and no problem. You don’t even have to freeze the treats on the pad, it just makes for a longer licky-session for the dog. I love that this comes with two pads, each has 4 different textures, comes with a spatula/scraper, and is so easy to clean. I usually hand wash but have put them in the dishwasher. My dog gets very excited when he hears “licky-pad timeâ€! I usually put a couple treat types on at once and freeze. After trial and error, we’ve landed at our favorites being beef or turkey baby food and spray cheese (I tried the Kong cheese at first but it’s expensive, and figured he’s getting so little of the cheese it doesn’t matter if it’s the cheap grocery store kind). Canned pumpkin also worked but he wasn’t as gung-ho for it. Just rinse it off when done to get the “chunks†out, then run over the pad with some dish soap and dish brush. 2 minutes max. Let the dog lick the scraper clean before washing it. If I don’t feel like washing it I rinse and put in the dishwasher, and use the second pad. The suction stays strong. It really sucks to my sink bottom when I’m washing it!2023: Really liked the product at first. Dog likes it, easy to use and clean. But after just a few uses and hand washing the suction cups didn’t work any more so now when he tries to lick the mat it slides all over the floor.

Liked these at first but now they won't stick to glass anymore so are useless. Have used them only a handful of times.

Good quality product. My shih tzu loves it for snacks and even meals at times. Only thing is that I ordered a different color and got 2 orange ones.
