Upon arrival they look translucent - BUT there are directions that say remove the film on BOTH sides with small pull off tape tabs that you adhere to the edges of the bookends which then peel off the plastic film. They are crystal clear and unmarred! Perfect for our simple bookcase and they don't compete with all the colorful book covers. Well made, sturdy, and they do the job for a great price.

Love that they are clear, sturdy and do not move. They are unnoticeable and do the job perfectly! Very scratch resistant and cover a normal size book good.

I bought these to use as shelf separators whole organizing my children's Nerf gun connection. Each day of book ends comes with a sheet of pop out, stick on feet. Assembly is easy, just peel off the film from both sides, and place four rubber feet on the bottom. The film comes with a sticker on it that I thought was meant to help lift the film off the book end. Pulling on it just peeled the sticker off and the film stayed. I was able to easily peel the film off but my husband doesn't have much for fingernails and he struggled to get the film off.The depth is nice and these are pretty sturdy. I'm able to lean Nerf guns against the upright side without the book ends tipping. I also used these in my freezer door to keep bags of breast milk from falling through the gaps in the shelving. I dropped a couple when rearranging in the freezer and I thought for sure the cold plastic would shatter on impact but not a single crack. Also after the film is removed the book ends are really clear. I'd absolutely but these again if I thought of another need.

These do the job and they are virtually invisible. Love them...glad I bought them.

I love the simplicity of the product and the grip stickers help to keep them in place. They do the job well and offer a neat, clean, floating look on the bookshelf. Only downside is I ordered an 8 pack and 2 of the pieces were cracked on the bottom (pictured in review). Also you do have to put the grip stickers on yourself. Not a big deal though! Would recommend this product just check them in case they are cracked.

Did not look like acrylic at first. However, I realized I had to remove the protective film. After that, just what I wanted.

Perfect. I wanted something that was invisible. These kept the books upright without taking up valuble space on the shelf.

The description says 4pcs which I assume 4 pairs as shown in the picture but when it arrived it's only 4 pcs which means it's only 2 pairs. The photo does not match the description.
