It’s a bit wobbly but is sturdy enough once it’s full of books. It can be extended way out and holds a ton. Using it in my office on my desk to hold reference books. I would buy it again.

Was trying to find a sturdy set of bookends that could perch on an odd-sized shelf. Most of all, I didn't want to dislodge the entire array of books when (not if) I bumped into it in the night. This fit the bill perfectly. I have a wide range of sizes and widths in the holder and everything stays in place.
