I pulled a muscle in my lower back and was hoping for something to keep my back in its natural alignment, and this worked great! My back didn't bother me while I sat in my chair; it was small enough to stay on my lower back and firm enough to keep my back aligned.

I got this pillow for my Mom, who has back pain from scoliosis. She uses in her recliner and it provides her with enough lumbar support to help keep her back pain to a minimum. The cushion is good quality and I would definitely recommend.

The sedentary lifestyle... what's the expression, now? Oh yeah: "Sitting is the new smoking." Too much time sitting for my job, as well as getting up there in years, I've been dealing with lower back pain on my left side. I read a bit on this issue and kept seeing recommendations for a lumbar support pillow. Well, I have a great SecretLab desk chair -- that I spent entirely too much $$ on -- and it came with one. Initially, it was just awkward and uncomfortable so I stashed it... at least I thought I did. I couldn't find it anywhere, so I picked up this little guy on a whim. I've been using it for about a week now and it's actually made a difference. The lower back pain has really minimized. Some add'l points:* It takes a bit to get used to. I've had to alter my sitting position in the chair, to accommodate. This initially put a bit of strain on my "glutes." So, I've needed to shift in my chair every so often to get comfortable again.* You'll need to reposition it periodically. It tends to slip around a bit because there's no strap on it to hold it in place.These things aside, it's been a decent help to my back pain. So, why knock off a star? It's a little, 16" wide by 8" high pillow... $19 is a little steep. (But, I guess I'm being a bit hypocritical... $19 for something that's making me feel less pain is a pretty good deal, right?)

I got this pillow 3 weeks ago and it stays in my recliner. Had 3 Lumbar operations. This pillow is heaven to me. I am a small person of 69 years old and my spine is now curving to the left. Thank you for making a great spine pillow.

My husband is a big man who suffers with Paget’s Disease in his middle and lower back. This cushion was too big for him to use comfortably while traveling. He will try it again once we get home; but it left him hurting worse after trying it while driving over the holidays. It appears to be well made. It may work better for neck support than it did for his back.

I bought 3 of these pillows and have used them everywhere. My work chair, in various cars and trucks for both short trips and long distance traveling, other people's random chairs, and on the couch. I always feel super supported and there's no shape loss so far after constant use the last 2 months. Material on the outside is smooth to the touch, but can be a tiiiiiiiiny bit scratchy (NOT like canvas at all) if you're sensitive and laying against this with your bare skin for long periods, but if it's up against your clothes or in a pillow case, it doesn't bother at all. I only noticed cause I was using this as a head pillow at times and the texture would bother my bare skin where I was putting the most pressure, and only after an hour. The blue color is a really nice shade of blue too. Would definitely buy these again if I needed replacements!

Bought this to try it in bed for my back pain but it’s too bulky. Decided to use it when I drive to work since I have commute 2hours a day to and from work. This gives almost instant relief to my lower back. Great lumbar support. I’ve had it for 4 months now or longer and it has kept its shape. This works great!

I have been trying different pillows for my couch because my back aches every time I get up. So far, this one is the best although still feel a bit achy when I get up.

I have been having back problems and purchased this for work. It is a nice size and I use it all day. Works great and helps with some of the pain.

Best pillow for lower back pain and I tried many. Also large enough that it fits the back of a recliner or chair and does not move around.

Worked great until the weather turned cold (freezing, zero degrees Celsius and below) at which point it turns into a stone hard blob. So if you are blessed with above zero temperatures all year around, it is a fine product. If you have cold winters and you want to keep using it in your car, it's not going to work.
