I have spinal stenosis, and proper positioning of the lower back eases the discomfort. My wife and I own two older Hondas: a 2008 Element and a 2010 Insight. Due to the age of the vehicles, the seats are no longer firm enough, and the lumbar support is insufficient. This product offers support and comfort for a reasonable price and an easy installation. Installation is the wrong word. You strap on the seat, cinch it up, and it stays solidly in place. The memory foam is firmly supportive and comfortable at the same time. The Amazon picture shows precisely how it fits and looks.

This product was not designed for commercial vehicles. I had to really stretch the top strap to secure it. If they made it a little longer it would be perfect. Anyway, I made it fit a 2018 kenworth. It left a little gap at the bottom but that being said....amazing back relief. There is a hinge bar that was pressing against my lower region due to the seat cushion wearing thin. This product totally fixed the issue and I'm amazed how it feels on my back. I want another one for my car. It was designed for cars, the top strap will work fine in most small cars.Update. The 2nd one fits great in my 2003 pontiac grand am. The seat was old and lumpy, this evens out the lumps and offers great back support. I really like this product!

RELIEF RELIEF RELIEF!I have a terrible back and as much as I like my SUV, it's old and the lumbar support is shot. I usually put a small pillow behind my back to help with the pain & discomfort but it moves around, it takes a bit to get comfortable and I have to move it every time I get in and out of the vehicle.Size Reference: I have this support in my 2005 Chevrolet Suburban driver's seat.Pros: The material is comfortable, stitching is well made, the cushion is surprisingly dense for how light it is. It's a PERFECT curve for my back. I'm 5'2" and 200lbs but have a long torso for my frame and it fits me like a glove! I have a 6'2" son and it fits him well too! Once strapped in, it doesn't move around much which is great. However...Cons: This item comes with 2 straps, one on top to go around the head rest and one at the bottom to go around the whole seat back. The bottom strap fits nice and snug and doesn't move from side to side. The top strap is a bit lacking though. It's too long to wrap around the head rest, I tried to double it but it's too short to do that. It was a bit frustrating. What I ended up doing is wrapping it around the individual bars of the headrest a couple times to MAKE it fit lol. When I get in the vehicle I have to lift it a bit to fit the curve of my back because once again, the top strap isn't great and foresee it getting lose in no time and losing it's elasticity.Does it get the job done? YesThis makes every day driving bearable now because my back isn't aching and burning.Overall, satisfied with the comfort of this item.

I needed a lumbar pillow for the passenger seat that didn’t move around when a person sits down. This lumbar support works best on cars with detachable headrests as the straps go around the headrest support rods. Also, the straps at the base easily hold the pillow in place. The lumbar support is just the right thickness without greatly reducing the passenger’s legroom. I can see where this pillow might be an issue for seats that don’t have a detachable headrest. The straps aren’t really long enough to go around a large seat.

I am 6'5" and drive a 2007 Expedition. While the truck’s lumbar support is adjustable it doesn't quite do the job, especially after 17 years. I've tried a variety of pillows but they never stay where I need the support.I bought this product hoping to beef up and stabilize the lumbar support and it did not disappoint. The straps that hold the pillow to the seat-back are very strong and are long enough to go around the headrest and bottom of the seat with length to spare.My only complaint (and it's nothing against the product) is that the legroom in the front seats of the Expedition is marginal at best for a tall driver. This product positions me a couple of inches forward reducing my legroom somewhat but it’s so comfortable that I would buy another one in a heartbeat if this one ever wears out.I strongly recommend this product!

I'm 5'2", average 23-year-old, and was really just looking for something to fix my shoulder/neck pain that arises from a culmination of driving, laptop work, and crochet/knitting work. I noticed my posture really isn't great while driving so I thought this could solve. It didn't really.I drive a Lexus NX300h, compact SUV. The seat already has some comfy lumbar support but the issue is in the headrest, as it pushes my head forward in a slumped position. This added pillow helped with keeping my back upright in the seat, however I think I'm just too small for it. The pillow does push you up about 2 inches from the back of the seat, but it also rises pretty high and wide. The support doesn't just support my back, but pushes my shoulders up (and together) too, so I needed to do shoulder stretches a lot more often. The height of the pillow also meant that in order to avoid slumping my neck down without support, I would have to lean back and put my chin up. Comfy for resting, but that's not how you drive lol. It felt like I was forced in that position rather than "relaxing" in that position, so I was still stiff. I read some people also bought head pillows in support, but that seems like such a hassle.Overall returned, it just wasn't working.

For someone with bad posture I absolutely appreciate this product. I no longer have back pain from food deliveries or driving across state to visit family.

It didn't suit me for car seat use. Very firm/ hard lumbar support which pushes you too far forward in car seat which then means your upper back is not supported at all unless you curve your back into an unnatural position leaning too far back.This item comes vaccum packed, rolled up and stuffed into a tiny round tube zipperd bag. It was very difficult to pull cushion out of the bag. I absolutley knew there was no way I would get this back into that bag for a return. I didn't take this out of the plastic wrapper and trying to roll it back up to get it into zipped bag was a complete failure. The manufacturer should be more considerate about possible returns as despite me not using it or taking out of plastic wrapper I've had to tape the bag to the item for the return which I feel terrible about. Also don't think it is worth the money at £46. Slight offgassing odour coming though small hole in bag.

We bought this as a back support for an armchair that has hard wooden slats that go across the back of the chair (one of the later versions of the IKEA Poang rocking chair). We started noticing the wooden slats when the existing chair cushion started to pack out after a few years of owning the chair. This Dreamer car cushion makes the chair much more comfortable. Note that the cushion is a lot thicker at the bottom than the top, so if your chair is already shaped to have lumbar support (like the Poang chair), you might find the Dreamer cushion to be too thick at the bottom. This is personal preference, however, as some people might still find it to be an improvement. We raised our Dreamer cushion so that the bottom of the cushion was about 10 cm (4") above the seat of the chair, so that the thick bottom acts more like a lumbar support, instead of making the seat shorter from back to front. (Although that might also be handy, if you want to customize an armchair for a smaller person.) The straps work very well - there are straps on the bottom and on the top of the Dreamer cushion to help you adjust the position of the cushion, which worked just as well for the Poang chair as it would for a car seat. (I only gave 4 stars for warmth, but that's because I didn't buy the cushion for warmth, and I have not tested it for warmth.)
