I was searching for a gavel and block set for my husband who leads a local Veteran's organization. I found this one that seemed promising, and I am so happy that I ordered it!It arrived in a presentation box with the gavel and block enveloped by a pre-formed styrofoam so that they couldn't move during shipping and break. There were no scratches on the beautiful wood. The fountain pen came with two cartridges. The style of the pen reminded me of when I was a little girl in the '60's, and my parents wrote with these pens, but had to dip them in little bottles of ink!Overall, I am definitely happy that I bought this for my husband to use. He was also thrilled when he saw the quality!

the gavel and block were great. but there was also supposed to be a pen with the set. There was no pen in the box.
