Setup in full sun. Attached to my trailer. No lights. Re read the instructions, which need extreme magnification. Finally I have lights on day 2. Up'd the rating. My concern now is hoe long the batteries will last. If it works for a few months I'll come back and up the stars.

So I bought a set of these outside motion sensor lights and weren’t any good….asked to replace or refund my money and was sent another set which neither one from the last package worked…so from all 4 lights only 1 is working and doesn’t last but several hours…. So disappointed with them

I got these to provide lighting on the steps to my front porch. We like to leave the lights off to help protect our wildlife - owls and other critters need full darkness to hunt. But we often get deliveries or visitors at night and wanted to light the steps for safety. This was maybe not the BEST choice for that, as apparently the motion detection is most effective when the sensor is higher off the ground. However, these do work quite well. They are MUCH brighter than we expected and honestly if they were at eye level I'd find them a bit blinding. There is a setting that allows them to just be constantly on at a low light level if you prefer that. The instructions are somewhat inscrutable but I eventually figured it out, and it is kind of amazing to me how effective the motion detector is in such a small and inexpensive package. There is no non-solar backup charger option so be sure you have a very sunny place to charge this. It comes with screws if you want to use them but we just leaned ours up against the steps.

I bought a pair of these and they worked great for about 4 weeks. One of them will not work at all now and the other works every now and again.Update@They both quit and are trash
