  • Introducing OxyGenie Oversized Piggyback Oil Drain Plug, crafted from high-quality stainless steel 304 using advanced CNC cutting technology. With exceptional hardness and precision, this plug effectively re-threads the oil pan, ensuring a secure fit.
  • Easy to fix, save both time and money. No need to replace the entire oil pan when you can rely on our oversized piggyback engine oil drain plug. Designed to perfectly match the fit and function of the original drain plug, it has undergone rigorous try-on testing to ensure a reliable and leak-free seal.
  • The Ideal Solution - While various thread repair tools like Heli-Coil, Time-Sert, or self-tapping bolt and drain plug repair kits are available in the market, they present risks and challenges. Repairing the oil pan thread using these tools requires careful alignment of the tap perpendicular to the oil pan before cutting new threads, or it may result in oil leakage. However, with our piggyback oil drain plug, fixing your slipped oil pan thread is a breeze, involving just a few simple steps.
  • Package Include: 1pcs stainless steel self tapping piggyback oversize oil drain plug, specification: M14.1-1.5 x 15mm; 1pcs L Shape Hex Key Allen Wrench (for the piggyback drain plug); 2pcs fluorine o-ring for main plug; 2pcs red copper gasekt for piggyback drain plug;
  • Easy to Install: Step1. Make sure you clean the oil pan thread area thoroughly, there isn't excess oil around the area or in the threads. Step2. Thread the main plug into the hole, a few threads forward and then a few back. Once the plug bottoms out, remove it slowly and then use some brake cleaner to clean loose thread material. Step3. Use T-socket wrench, tighten the plug with a torque of around 14ft-lbf.

Installation Instructions:

Their filter for my 2007 Suzuki Bandit was perfect. The plug is a perfect fit. It screwed in easily. I’m greatly relieved to fix my leak. High quality, extra o rings. Great product.

So far it worked fine when installing, followed all the directions and torque specs. Time will tell how durable this is and I will definitely update this review on the next oil change.No leaks after 2k miles. Saved me over 700$ repairs.

High quality and very easy to use. Used it to replace the stripped drain bolt on an aluminum radiator.

Shortly after purchasing my 2006 Yamaha V-star, I discovered a slow oil leak at the drain plug. After removing the plug I found that the previous owner had stripped the female threads in the casing. While researching a way to fix it I found this oversized plug and decided to give it a try. It worked exactly as advertised. It was very easy to install and eliminated my leak, which after removing the drain plug originally, had become a steady drip.

The major thread diameter was 0.4 - 0.5 mm larger than the OEM drain bolt on my 2012 Honda Odyssey, which was perfect. I was paranoid about cross-threading the new plug but after lining it up with the help of a deep socket I was able to get it started in the old threads and twist it in. The bolt flange looked perfectly flush with the oil pan so I'm calling it a complete success. I'll keep an eye out for oil leaks and revise my glowing review if needed.

Install was good. Was able to torque the plug and did not feel like it was going to strip again. Only time will tell how long the o-ring will last
