How to Install M2 Garage Wall Protector
Step 1 - Measure
- Identify where your car door hits the wall.
- Mark the installation height if possible.
Step 2 - Wipe and Clean
- Wipe the wall with rubbing alcohol.
- Wait until dry before applying the protectors.
- Avoid using household cleaners or water.
Step 3 - Apply Adhesive
- Peel off 4 inches (10 cm) of the adhesive backing and attach it to the wall.
- Gradually peel off the rest while pressing the protector to the wall, keeping it straight and fully adhered.
Step 4 - Press & Last
- Press the protector firmly onto the wall for 30 seconds.
- The adhesive reaches full strength in 72 hours.

So my idea was to use pool noodles, ended up using a pipe foam wrapper (a skinnier pool noodle) to do the job. And while it worked, it was not what I envisioned. Plus it left marks on the car's doors, it did not want to stay secured to a wall, and it just stood out in both texture in color. Gray tubing on a white wall is very noticeable. Then I found this product! Where has it been all my life?! It's perfect. It matches the color of the wall so you don't even realize it's there until you really pay attention. That's besides the point. The material is very thick and prevents the wall from bumping into the wall and leaving dents. It also keeps marks off the door. It's soft but it stops the door perfectly if you need to crawl out and you parked too close to a wall. I have not seen any damage on the car's doors after the very few times I needed the extra space. Install is easy. You glue these on. I DO suggest you clean the walls first. A damp rag and some glass cleaner or other product to make sure there's nothing to interfere with the seal of the bumpers and the wall. I wish I had found this sooner. This is also great for creating a cushion for the headboard if it's made from a hard material and has a tendency to hit the wall with the littlest of movements. Same for dressers and night stands if you need to keep them from bumping into the wall and leaving dents. I saved one of the four pannels to use on the wall behind my office chair. It's perfect for everything!

Got these to put on my garage wall as I just got a new car. I wanted to protect my doors when I open them. The wall protectors are made of quality material and stick to my rough garage wall perfectly. You can tell these are made well and will stick for a long, long time. These came 4 to a pack, so I used 2 of them on each side of the car to protect all the doors. Opening the door and having it hit these, they work perfectly.Overall, I'm really happy with these!
