I have no problem with inserting my right ear, left ear seems to be a problem very difficult to insert. Need assistance from another to place in ear correctly. But once in works like a charm. Keeps water out.

I love these. They are perfect for swimming. It takes a bit of practice to place them correctly into your ears (lifting the earlobe up and to the front is the technique that works best for me), but once you have mastered this, they seal the ear completely. I used to always get water in my ears and had a hard time getting it out after a swim, but these prevent any water from getting in.They have nice big 'handles' to get them out quickly. They obviously make it harder to hear your surroundings, but in a swimming pool of screaming children or nosy adults, it is a perfect excuse to shrug, point at your earplugs, and keep on swimming!

Easy to use and easy to wash by hand, unlike the silicon "putty" kind. If you have a larger ear canal, they might not work for you. One of my ears (I now know because of these) is larger than the other. One side fits great, the other requires a little manipulation. BUT still keeps the water out of my ears during a swim workout, which is critical for me. Very comfortable to use.I can still hear the whistles when the lifeguards here call the 5 min rest period at the end of every hour, yet filters out the music and the yelling children so I can hear my breath and heartbeat while I swim laps. I could easily hear people calling across the pool during emergency situations, which I hope never to encounter. (I could not necessarily say the same thing about the silicon kind.)

I love Mack's foam ear plugs for sleeping, and was disappointed that these AquaBlock ear plugs were not best in class. The AquaBlock plugs were easy to use, but failed to block swimming noise as well as ear plugs with thicker "flanges", like the ASIN B082TP69BL product (100 pairs for USD 20.00), wich product I use for swimming and motocycling for its excellent noise isolation.

my teenager uses them every day for swim team and they work well. The purple color is a bonus if you need to find them in water.

I use these every time I go out surfing, and they are fantastic! They don't fall out or come loose once securely fastened, and I am able to be battered around by waves and catch waves without worrying about my earplugs coming loose. Definitely recommend.

I'm a bit of a sucker for gadgets of all types, electronics, pens, etc., so I naturally had to try those fancy new earplugs with circles and 'stuff' on them to make their noise reduction even better according to the nany listings.I have ADHD and sometimes I need to block out noise as completely as possible to stay focused on what I'm working on. Here's a few things I've used to achieve this:Fancy Dan earplugs with all the circles and 'stuff'-they reduce the noise but you need to pfaff around getting the best result from them. Completely forgotten the next time you use them.Over Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones-they work well except my ADHD brain is weak-willed and easily led so I get distracted by the background music playing through the headphones;Noise Cancelling Ear Buds-not as efficient as the Over Ear Headphones at reducing noise but better than nothing.And then there are Mack's. Simple Silicone Ear Plugs, east to fit and within seconds the noise is barely audible. Perfect! They're easy to remove too.*Added Bonus: They are great in tbe shower stopping every drop of water from filling up your ear canal.By far the cheapest option of the lot and in my opinion they do the best job. Recommended.

I did try two other products and this one is the one I feel blocks 100% of the water and preventing it from entering the ear. The only thing that kind of had me thinking is warning about taking them off. It was what prompted me to try the other two products. But if you take them off the way it is described in the instructions, there should be no problelm.
