Subject: My New Favorite Pan - The Made In Cookware 3 QT CeramiClad Non Stick SaucierThe Made In Cookware 3 QT CeramiClad Non Stick Saucier has quickly become the most indispensable piece of cookware in my kitchen. Its thoughtful design and high-quality construction make it incredibly versatile and a joy to use.The depth of this saucier is a game-changer. It's deeper than my other pans, which allows it to function beautifully as a pot when needed. This eliminates the need for multiple specialized pieces of cookware and simplifies my cooking process. One of the most impressive features is the edge design. I've struggled with dripping from other pans, even from well-known brands, but this saucier is different. The meticulously crafted edge prevents any drips whatsoever, keeping my stovetop clean and tidy. This is a first for me, and it’s a feature I truly appreciate. The domed lid is another stroke of genius. The clever design effectively collects condensation and channels it down the sides of the pan, preventing it from dripping back onto the food. This helps maintain the proper consistency of sauces and other dishes. The ceramic finish is not only beautiful and elegant but also highly practical. It adds a touch of sophistication to my cooking experience and makes cleanup a breeze. The fact that it’s free of PFAS, PTFE, PFOA, lead, and cadmium gives me peace of mind. The 5-ply construction and compatibility with all stovetops, including induction, further enhance its versatility. It's also oven-safe up to 550°F, which expands its culinary possibilities.Overall, this Made In pan has elevated my cooking experience significantly. It’s a well-designed, high-performing pan that I highly recommend.

Made-In is the consumer line from an old European manufacturer of commercial cookware. Made-In is manufactured in France, Italy, and the United States. Their pans mostly conform to traditional European shapes and styles but are adapted for modern home kitchens.A “saucier†looks like a deep skillet at first glance. It isn’t. The sides are deep enough to contain splatters but shallow enough to maneuver a whisk or spoon. The sides join the bottom in a large radius so that the whisk or spoon isn’t missing parts of the ingredients. The bottom is fairly large so that ingredients can come to heat and also cool quickly. This is not a cheap pan. What you are paying for is five-ply construction with heavy amounts of metal used throughout the construction. Five-ply makes for much more even heat distribution. I measured with an infrared thermometer and found no hot or cold spots. The lid is heavier gauge metal than other flat lids for my cookware.I rarely will use this pan for saucing. That isn’t part of my repertoire. Rather, I’ll use this pan frequently for one-pot meals. I’ve shown photos of a rather plebeian use of the pan. Tonight I’ll use the pan for American-style goulash.I love this pan.

This saucier is exceptional. It's beautifully made, and the attention to detail is spectacular. I like how broad it is at the bottom. I use this not only as a saucepan, I also use it as a skillet if I'm not making a huge amount because I can easily saute onions and garlic in it, pan sear chicken in it, or make a hamburger. I like the higher edges because there is a lot less splatter. It is really heavy, and the lid seals really well. It is so nonstick I can wipe it clean with a papertowel. I don't do that, but I definitely could. I hope to continue to add to my "Made In" collection. There are so few brands that live up to this quality. This pan will probably outlive my mid-50s self.

This is my new favorite pan for cooking. It heats and cooks evenly, meaning my sauces have no burned edges and my meats have no raw spots. Nothing sticks to this pan, which is seriously impressive and is in itself enough to earn a high rating from me. It's so easy to clean, no matter what messy thing I cook in it. The design is elegant and refined and makes me feel like I'm in a professional kitchen. It's also very sturdy, just the right weight to have a bit of heft without being difficult to lift, even when full. This pan is absolutely worth the higher cost, as it really is higher quality.

I stopped using traditional non-stick pans years ago in favor of mostly cast iron for health reasons. However, there are times when a nice non-stick pans really does make things a lot easier, especially when it comes to sauces. The lid fits perfectly, and the handle is a nice shape- feels good in my hand. But, really, the star of the show here is the surface treatment. Being able to have those non-stick benefits, but without the worry of ingesting toxic forever chemicals, is a really nice thing. Made In cookware has all been awesome in my experience- extremely well made, a clear step up from the Calphalon set we got as a wedding gift years ago.

When I took it out of the box I was surprised by the shape. It is not a pot with tall sides or a skillet, it is something in between. I have never seen a pan like this. I did use it to boil some pasta and it has a great finish that is non-stick. It cleans up easily. It is heavy because it is stainless steel then has a ceramic coating inside. I have other pans that have a similar coating and those don't stay nonstick if you use a higher heat, low temps only. We will see how this performs. This is oven safe to 550 degrees. Two things I don't like, you cannot use metal utensils that will scratch the surface because of the coating and I have a metal spider for pasta, so.... Made In original cook wear is all stainless steel and no coating so you can use metal in those. The other thing is the solid stainless-steel lid. It has no vent and I do prefer those see through glass lids. The odd shape is going to be hard to store this pan and it won't be my regular go to pan.
