I think these make a better vacuum and seal than Vacu Vin, and are much easier to use as well. Eventually they can break down, but they are so easily and cheaply replaceable

Out of a 4 pack o fly 3 work, they seem to work ok. I'm not a with e Drinker but I use them on my cooking g with e when I get as bottle that is not screw off.

Update: I first rated these 5 stars, but now need to lower them to 3 stars after all of my stoppers eventually developed a problem with the seal & vacuum plunger coming off which causes them to no longer be able to create a vacuum in order to keep the wine fresh. I really like the concept and how they work if they are able to fix the flimsy seal and plunger issue and make them more durable.Very pleased with these vacuum wine stoppers. I've used several types of vacuum stoppers and these work the best of the bunch. Each stopper contains its own built-in manual vacuum pump. The vacuum pump handle & shaft move up & down freely and easily. Simply pump the wine bottle until the handle & shaft pulls back and snaps down quickly which indicates that enough vacuum pressure has been reached. After vacuuming out the air from the bottles you can lay them down horizontally and they won't leak at all. They do add some extra height to your wine bottles, so they may not fit vertically on a refrigerator shelf but do fit fine in most refrigerator doors and tall cupboards. Excellent price on these too!

I just bought them to try because I wasn't sure I understood what they were meant to do... BUT THEY WORK!!! You have to pump longer than the traditional wine savers and they make the bottle stand higher but they also occupy less space in the drawer, you dont need to carry a pump plus rubber cork and they fit in my purse, just in case😉I WOULD BUY AGAIN

It works really well! It delivers the promise for keeping wine fresh - a bottle of red was still drinkable and untainted a week after opening! Previous wine savers have not been so effective as this! It’s also really good value - I paid the same price for just one of these (different make) a few years ago - and it didn’t work that well. There are 4 in this package. Very pleased with the purchase.

Sollte wirklich einmal Rotwein in der Flasche übrig bleiben, dann sind diese Wein-Stopper perfekt geeignet. Zum Beispiel bleiben nach einer Weinprobe meistens noch Reste in den Flachen. Mit diesen Stoppern ist der Wein auch nach Tagen noch gut zu genießen.
