I was very worried about not having enough sun to set them off at night, but even on a gray day, they still light up, great product, and looks handsome on my new deck!

They've been up for over a year. Look great still working

I liked the style of these so I decided to replace my older dimmer post lights. When I tested them out of the package in my home, the lights looked more white than anything else and the flame effect seemed kind of off compared to other flame lights I have, but I figured that if I didn't care for the effect I could always just make it static like the lights I replaced. Easy to install. I left them out for a full day of sun and when I checked them out in place at night, it was a totally different look; the light was more orangey-red like a real flame and the effect was on point. Hope they last as long as my last solar post lights (which still work btw, but need to have their solar panels polished). Really happy with these; don't judge them by how they look out of the package. They really need a full charge and need to be seen in place.

I absolutely love the look, feel, and brightness of these. The flame effect is excellent. The brightness level is perfect for my deck railing post tops, and installation is relatively easy (though not terribly secure. If they get hit or knocked, they're likely to break or pull out the screws).2 Complaints. First, the solar panel isn't big enough to keep the battery fully charged - especially if they're not in full direct sunlight all day. On cloudy or partly cloudy days, or shorter winter days, they barely last any time at all.Second, although I like the dual-fit design of the base (4"x4" posts or 6"x6" posts), they actually didn't fit either. I had just built my deck, so the treated 4x4s were fresh and slightly wet. So in a few months or a year, who knows the posts might shrink enough to fit, but the 4x4 mount was far too small to fit when I got them. Same with the 6x6 mount for new treated lumber. I had the choice to plane the lumber to fit, or just use the larger (6x6) adapter on my 4x4 posts. I results in the large square base sticking out an inch or so all the way around, but my wife and I thought it looked OK (almost like it was part of the design) so I left it. I may check back in the spring and see if they fit without the adapter, or just keep the current look.

So I got these today and I really enjoy them. The flame on them is pretty cool. Doesn’t look like that of the picture show but definitely gives a flame moving effect. None the less I am happy with my purchase.

I bought the 4 pack for our 4 fence posts. I did not expect how cool they looked at night! Like wow!!!! Super easy to install and they charged super quickly.

The previous solar lights we had for the same location were a headache to assemble. These fit right over the top of a 4x4 wooden post out of the box (just need to rotate and remove the top then flip switch to turn on the light) and they come with adapters for a 6x6 post. The previous lights we had solar rechargable batteries only lasted 8 months, yest to been seen on these. Build quality much better than the previous so hopefully battery life will be too. Of note these are VERY low light ambient/accent only, which we wanted, they are NOT BRIGHT .

The first time I purchased these lights they lasted all night and for a few years. One light finally stopped working and I bought them again this July. WELL long story short they do not stay lite. They are in full sunlight all day and after dark I am lucky if they last a couple of hours. The one light from my first purchase is in a shady area and stays lite all night. They are no longer making a quality product.

Still stay light all night on sunny days. Bought 6 pack, now on 3rd summer, no issues from harsh winters.

I am very happy with the purchase. The lights look like real flames if you select that option. The other solar lights in my backyard does not work that well. But this brand has not disappointed me so far except for few of them - could be because of less solar in those areas.

Nice lights, but the mesh sides don't look as nice as some of the other lights that have designs on them.
