nice light. I mounted it to my brick mailbox post with museum wax (it comes with full mounting hardware ut I didn't need). ive had it a few weeks and the light stays strong until morning. I would buy again.

I was apprehensive about purchasing a solar lamppost for fear it wouldn’t give off much light. Happy to say, I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of light this provides. I had an existing post with electric running through it but didn’t want to have to pay an electrician. Decided to take a chance with this and it certainly paid off! It fits perfectly, took two seconds to screw in, and voila! Great value for the $$$!

After long hassles maintaining a connected lamp, I opted to try a solar powered lamp. While the installation was easy and it looks fine, we were disappointed with only a few nights of light. After a couple more nights of illumination, we noticed the time it stayed lit became shorter and shorter. It then dropped to just a couple of hours. Now it doesn’t come on with any regularity. It will need to be replaced. Is it because it was on the lesser expensive end of available models? Does a more expensive light have better components and thus better performance? Back to research.

Light works well even a few months now through the winter. Lights up every night and lasts almost all through the night when during cloudy days.

Sorry, don’t like giving negative reviews, but this lamp post light does not perform well. If it’s bright and sunny all the time, it would probably be OK. However, when days are cloudy, it does not stay lit for long. Our yard solar lights are always on from dusk until dawn, but this light does not perform well. Top is hard plastic and snapped when we removed the lid with just a slight turn. Now we are in search of a sturdy more reliable lamp post light. Very disappointed…….

We had an electric yard lamp at the end of our drive, to replace the deteriorated underground line would have been very expensive. I researched solar yard lamp replacements and chose this model from the description specs. It was quick to install, luckily that day very sunny so the solar cells could do their thing all day-viola! It was as advertised, imagine that! It's been installed for a few months and shines most of the night after a sunny day...cloudy days it may last 4 to 5 hours. Great Purchase!

At first I thought it dose not stay on long enough because of less daylight and being winter but when I go to work at 4 am most times it still on very happy with the purchase

The fit on my yard pole was perfect, installation was easy, the light is clear and bright. But I wanted more of a mood/ambient night light and the bulb is not changeable. I ended up putting yellow tissue paper over the glass of the fixture. I guess, alternatively, one might paint the bulb or the fixture glass but simplest would be a serviceable/changeable bulb.
