My grandson loves this, he has been tricking all of his friends and family except for his dad who had the same one when he was little.

So I used to work in a magic shop years ago and we sold similar items. The bite coins are great and a wonderful trick. These seem to be well made, and are easy to use. Come with tons of extra bands as well when they inevitably break. My only knock is that these are not real quarters. They look very close to the part, but the second you hold one, you can tell. Not a huge deal breaker as you won't be handing these out for inspection anyways, but loads of them online are made from real coins and just feel better quality for it. Knocking a star off for that, because it is not disclosed that these are fake quarters.

I am not a magician, I do not dabble in the black arts, but I have always enjoyed some of the gadgety tricks that don't require a lot of practice. This hinged coin is a super-easy trick that can be used for some close up magic in a lot of different ways, from the old bite-the-coin trick, put the coin in the narrow bottle trick, etc.The quality of the item seems great. The photos I included show that it looks pretty darn close to a real quarter. Obviously one can tell the difference if you look closely, but this isn't a trick where the observer handles the item, unless you palm the trick coin and hand them a real quarter to look at first. From any reasonable distance, one cannot tell that it is a trick coin. The weight is noticeably different, though more similar to modern quarters. One can see from the included photos that the thickness is nearly the same as a real quarter. The edge, if inspected closely, is an obvious give-away as that is where the rubber band goes to hold the two halves together.I like that both coins come with a handful of extra rubber bands if the original one wears down.Overall, great little quick magic trick, great quality item.

These are pretty well done... super easy to replace the rubber band, too. It just circles the whole coin, setting in a groove along the rim, yet the "hinging" action works fluidly and quick. Nice, believable detail. Up close, yes, you can see the seam / break in the coin obviously, but hold it just a foot or so away and the line disappears to casual observance, even scrutiny (keep it moving lol). WELL DONE PROPS, and the two pack is a bonus. GIDDYUP!

I like to me around with small, slight of hand magic tricks. I have seen this one in the past and was interested in trying this out. The coins come in a little ag with some extra bands that are used to wrap around the coin to provide the spring function. These are the same bands my son used for his braces. The quarter does have a noticable joint if looking closely, so it's best to swap it out before allowing anyone to look too closely. There are some nice tutorials online for best ways to use this trick.

This is a fun trick to do and mostly works by itself. It comes with 2 quarters, so if one wears out or gets lost, then there is a backup. The quarters are not perfect looking and if I get them too close to the audience, they will see the line on the quarter. So I stand back a little further when I do this one for the kids. The rubber bands are a bit tricky to get on, but they do hold in place once they are set. I have used these a few times and I only had one malfunction, and I quickly had to maneuver and just make it disappear. I do wish they had been made from a real quarter, for look and feel, but as is, they do work to fool the kids.

The hinge mechanism works smoothly, creating a convincing illusion that amazes audiences every time. They're well-made and durable, ensuring long-lasting use. My kids and I have had so much fun practicing and performing with them. It's a great addition to any magic kit and a wonderful way to entertain friends and family. Highly recommend!

These are so much fun. I got these to give to my nephew for Christmas. They didn’t show up on time my fault but nonetheless these are so easy to use. My nephew is eight years old. He loves jokes and magic tricks so I got these for him they also come back up rubber bands. It’s actually crazy how realistic these coins look they look exactly like a quarter from about 5 feet away. You can’t tell the difference the detail on them are amazing, and makes them a lot better when doing the trick
