I have a 1980 VW Scirocco with an OBD2 ABA swap, mk4 exhaust manifold(tubular), Techtonics racing downpipe, Techtonics 2.25" exhaust w/Borla muffler, short intake manifold, AEM dry filter, lightened flywheel and a giac chip. The downpipe is very, very long and doesn't leave any room for a standard catalytic converter. I did a lot of searching for a small, but good catalytic converter that was geared towards performance. This one looked good and the price was right, so I ordered it(it came in 1 day!) and had it installed. I passed emissions with flying colors and I also didn't notice any reduction in performance or exhaust tone(unlike most standard cats). This unit is great. It's compact in size, has good performance and it's not too expensive. I highly recommend it.
