Magnaflow saved my butt BIG time come inspection time with my 4" straight pipe. (Thanks a lot VA). If you're still wondering, YES this is an EPA compliant PERFECTLY legal cat option outside of Cali (and maybe NY). You can run this on the highway LEGALLY. Magnaflow does sell OFF-ROAD ONLY cats, so be careful when selecting other models.

This worked for my 2006 ram 2500, but I have an after market exhaust system. If you have a factory exhaust system you need 60110. But it this worked and passed in Chandler Az.

Moving to the Republic of Boulder Colorado from a non emissions state like Oklahoma can make you feel like a criminal, especially when you drive a diesel pickup. While my truck passed the E-Test with flying colors, it failed the visual test. Yes that is right, a visual test. I needed a catalyst. Looks great for the one time a year somebody looks for it to be there.1/6/2020 Update. Buyer beware, this catalytic converter will not pass emissions in Colorado emissions test, because it does not come with a piece of paper stating “Required testing has been performed and the manufacturer warrants that this part will not adversely affect emissions performance.” Magnaflows website even states this will not pass Colorado’s emissions test.

This is a weld on cat. 4” in/out. It is much lighter than the factory cat on the 12v Cummins Dodge Ram. One could try using clamps, I wouldn’t recommend it because the flanges are short. Approximately 1” on each end.Once installed, my truck passed the inspection emissions testing in Arizona.
