If you need a failproof gasket for any application MAHLE is the brand to go to. I tried other brands but all still continued to seep, but when I used a MAHLE it STOPPED end of story.

Rubber coated steel shim gasket. Perfect seal on my old van AODE trans. I would purchase again.

The rubber gasket for 2004 Ford Expedition. Never use paper gasket for leaking and repairing again.

I highly recommend this. This is not the cheap version gasket.

Installed in my '07 F150 4R70W. No leaks, works great.edit 2/8/19: I also used this gasket on an '08 F150 with the 5.4/4R75W. Amazon's guide seems to be under the impression this won't work on the 4R75W but that is of course ridiculous. Both the -70 and -75 use the same pan, same bolt pattern etc

Although the original gasket could be reused, after 20 years I decided to replace it with this new one. It fit perfectly and doesn't leak at all.
