Make sure you get a new gasket if your dropping your trannie pan. The old one was rusted on the outside and cracked when I tried to take it off. This one was an exact fit. 05 Exploder.

OEM metal-rubber reusable style-good quality gasket. I personally would not use the rubber-only style gasket that can also be purchased, Sealing on this metal-rubber style is excellent.

I was having a hard time locating my parts for a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer, so I double checked on the FEL PRO web site.. I had seen confusion before about the 5 and 6 speed transmissions, so I was being more careful than usual. The fel pro for the 5 speed is TOS18742. The 6 speed is TOS18753 Mine is the 6 cyl 4.0 with the 5 speed. -- Better to find out now than when under the car and IT DON'T FIT!!!
