Threads were smooth they supplied plenty of freeze and even a socket to use on them that other more expensive company doesn’t do that no let just hope they don’t break and we will be totally happy

These are fantastic. The studs are well made with clearly made threads. No roughness or weird flaking. They seem to be made and feel super sturdy. Installation was simple, and we have been up a running.

The Angry Mechanic sez, I had these installed in a junk yard engine (because the original engine was not a rebuilder). The short block was machined at a local machine shop I had the main bores align honed, and decks resurfaced before assembly. I wanted to make sure it would be a good foundation. These bolt are a bit of overkill for a completely stock rebuild in a basic work truck, but If you are doing the assembly work yourself you can splurge on Upgrades like good rod bolts, and cylinder head and main studs.This is a great stud kit and about 70% cheaper that the a r p mail stud kit.The set has the right tools needed for installation in the kit.Very good upgrade and I would use them again.

This is perfect for the demanding requirements and real life usage of certain Duramax models. It's got OEM specs and great build quality. The durability of this specific part should be good, though time will tell. I'll update this review if anything changes. It seems to have a good finish over the medal to prevent rusting or easy wear. Would recommend!

Overall, I am happy. The studs have good threads, a nice finish and they are straight.The threads are clean and everything threads together nicely as you would expect. I have no doubt these will hold up without the OEM issues. 5 STARS
