These binding coils are standard thickness compared to the coils I've ordered through the years. They're a great size for smallish books up to about 70 pages. They came packaged well with paper dividing the layers of coils to help avoid the tangle-mess that coils turn into when they're not separated. If you're just getting started in coil-binding, make sure you have a coil clamp tool to help secure the ends properly. It's worth the $10ish it costs to get one for the professional finish.

great flexibility. I needed some smaller ones for smaller booklets and these are the perfect size for I would say less then 90 pages. easy to thread through and they are nice and flexible. Work great with my 4:1 hole punch.

The MAKEASY 100 piece pack of spiral binding coils arrives in a cardboard box, with the coils separated into layers so they don't become a coiled connected mess.Unfortunately, I didn't read the description thoroughly enough to see that the pitch was incompatible to the new binding machine I got. It's not a huge problem, as I have been binding by hand for quite some time, but frustrating to discover! These coils are a 4:1 pitch, meaning four punches to the inch. They are made of black plastic and have a 5/16 diameter which will hold about 90 sheets of regular weight paper. Like all coils they can be cut to length if you are doing smaller projects, but they will fit 8.5"x11" size sheets. They worked through the punched holes on my test papers easily and it was easy to snip the end and bend to close the rolling of the loops.Would recommend to anyone who has the 4:1 size binder or is still willing to bind manually.

These spiral binding coils do their job just fine. I guess it's not rocket science to manufacture coils but I can say they hold their shape well which is important when you cut the excess off the end and bend the 'keeper' into the wire. Also, for a hundred pack the price is very economical.

I like to keep a variety of sizes on hand and this is a great value that makes that happen. The quality is great and while you can get various colors the black is versatile for us. Quality is great and it is a great value.

The coils that I received arrived clean and undamaged. They work as expected in my binding machine. I have not had any issues winding these into the punched holes. They're a good thickness and easy to cut with snippers. I like the box that they come in, it isn't super thin and flimsy like some coil boxes and I can stack it neatly on my shelves.
