Works good, especially if you do not have a dedicated DW screwdriver. I can only say it fits my Makita impact driver. Must use the Makita 784801-1 holder and B-34958 bits. It is depth adjustable. Easily comes off the drill when you need it to be removed.

I posted a question about if this would fit on a xdt11z. I'm happy to report it does and I suspect it will fit on many makita impact drills. It does work, but not very well. The concept would be better suited to a regular drill if they could make a suitable attachment to fit. There's just too much vibration happening with the impact to accurately gauge when the screw has disengaged from the driver, and it's too easy to put too much pressure on the drywall that leaves a ring indentation around the screw from the barrel of this adapter (perhaps a rubber capped barrel would be useful in this instance. After about an hour with this I gave up and went back to the regular drill and a regular driver. Not sure what I'll do with this adapter now, but I doubt I'll use it again.

It works in a pinch but not what I expected.

This will fit on the XDT13 model driver. There is a black rubber cover at the nose. Simply use a flathead screwdriver or similar to pop it off. Then slide on the adapter. The rubber fitting can easily be refitted once done.

once you find the right size bit that will fit, this works well. For someone who doesn't do drywall full time and does not want to invest in a drywall gun, this will get you by.

Once you find the correct bit and remove the rubber cap on the impact it works really good
