1、 Cut the tube square and remove any burrs or score marks. We recommend using a tube insert for soft or thin-walled plastic tubing.
2、 Push the tube into the fitting and up to the tube stop.
3、 Pull on the tube to check that it is secure. Test the system before use.
4、 Make sure that the system is depressurized,then push the collet square against the fitting. With the collet held in this position, the tube can be removed.

I used this to splice into refrigerator water supply tubing that had developed a pin-hole leak. It saved me hours of effort and a bundle in cash over replacing the whole water supply unit, which was the only option the refrigerator parts company could offer.

I needed to add an icemaker line and a final finishing filter onto my RO system. That required additional tubing, two valves, one tee and one inline coupler. Both of my local big box warehouse stores wanted more than the price of this entire set for just one valve. Needless to say I was concerned that such a price difference would result in this set being of substantially inferior quality, but since the locals also didn't have the other parts I needed, I decided to give this a try. I couldn't ask for any better results. I was able to install everything without concern for being short of any couplings I might need. In fact I improved the set up with couplings it provided that I had no idea were even available. Everything was water tight in the first try!!!!

I decided to install a coffee station next to my refrigerator, and thought it would be great to have a way to fill our Keurig coffeemaker without having to lug anything back and forth to and from the sink. So, I bought this set, installed a splitter on the line to the icemaker on my fridge, and now we can fill the coffeemaker's reservoir when it gets low by simply turning on the small spigot mounted on the wall out of sight behind it. It works flawlessly and has made it incredibly easy to keep the reservoir filled. The snap on connections are quick and, to date, there hasn't been any hint of a leak. My wife was suitably impressed by my creativity and handyman skills, and we both love the ease of maintaining the level in the coffeemaker reservoir with it.
