Had to wrap threads in excess pipe tape to seal. Now quick connect fitting leaks. Only these 1/2" to 1/4 qc connectors are leaking. Recut the lines, applied food grade silicone. They still leak. Absolute trash.

These would be perfect for whatever they fit, but they do not fit the 1/2" female threaded connector I have.

These were more then 1/2"; they were like 3/4" so they did not fit.

Does not matter if you use just a wrap or two of teflon tape or wrap it so thick you can barely tell there are threads or anywhere in between. Then tighten it down, it drips, make it tighter, still drips, tighten it until it physically cannot go any tighter and the ell just bends without tightening and it still drips.Not a slow drip either. Wipe off the drip, and it will drip again in less than a minute.I suspect the threads are not NPT, maybe NPS (not tapered). Maybe they are BSP. Just bad.
