Feels a lot cheaper and less durable then the original that had been damaged.I guess that's what we get now since MSD owns Mallory...inferior stuff so we run MSD...wich also not that amazing...We will see how long it lasts

Helped my 1968 Mustang run considerably better, recommend replacing around the year mark. Was considerably cheaper than going to the local hot rod shop that wanted nearly double the price.

the correct cap for my mallory distributor. worked great on my Rev Rot 454.

This cap should seat snugly on the distributor but it’s loose and allows dust inside. Don’t buy a Mallory distributor because the replacement parts are poor quality now.Edit: I have to clean my distributor about every two months to get all the dust out because the cap is loose and there’s no kind of seal/gasket. Garbage products. Don’t buy Mallory distributors.
