This is the perfect trailer for my two hardshell Waterskates. So easy to hook-up and haul even this old lady can do it. Sturdy, well-made, loads and unloads easily. Did have help putting it together, but love it. So glad I bought this one!

Used for kayak. Pulled down paved road, dirt road, and bumpy gravel road. Also highway at 65MPH. All good scores.Assembly- instructions suck. I used a YouTube video and it was near perfect. Slight changes to video and was easy to do. Only one person. Took about 4 hours working slow and comfortable. Parts bag not labeled but easy to determine what nut and bolts to use. No spare parts. Had to buy locking nuts for lights because supplied 1/4 20 vibrated off. Fenders are plastic but good quality.Tongue and hitch- chain hooks are pretty big and won’t fit her Kia supplied mount. The push lock is not very smooth but hope with wear it will loosen up. She can’t lock it on the ball. I’ve loosened it with the nut on bottom but it’s still very hard. Afraid she’ll cut her smooth hands!Delivery- came quickly and well packaged. I think it was four boxes. They were all heavy, but I could move them myself.Backing and driving- trailer pretty much tracks with her rear wheels on Kia. For me, backing was easy but she needed to practice never pulling a sport trailer.

The trailer arrived at my house in five boxes. They were pretty heavy, but I managed to drag them to my garage. I read through the instructions. They seemed to have left things out. However, several people have videoed their assembly and have put them on YouTube. The videos walk you through the build step-by-step. It took me about five hours to assemble it. I am impressed with the quality--Malone uses galvanized steel. The pieces are well made and fit together perfectly. My shipment was missing a fender bracket, so I went on Amazon and message the seller. They shipped the bracket out and I received it in just a few days. I haven't used the trailer yet, but there are several video demonstrations of usage on YouTube. All of the videos are positive.

Our was sold by Ourland Outdoor and shipped directly from Malone. Instructions were left out - no biggie as they are also online. Youtube videos were easier to follow. The title was mailed from Malone to Ourland Outdoor, then sent on to us 2 weeks after the original purchase date. That would be my only complaint - at no time were we notified that this was the procedure. A heads up would have been nice.

The trailer itself is vey stout and should fit my needs. HOWEVER, if you have wide kayaks like fishing kayaks or pedal kayaks like myself, this trail will NOT work. I had to purchase longer 78" cross bars. The standard 60" crossbars were too short. If you need longer cross bars Liquid Sail and Surf has them (Malone 78" MicroSport HD 1.25" Galvanized Cross Bars). You do not need to purchase the mounting hardware. They come with the trailer. Many reviewers mentioned the poor instructions. I would partially agree. Shame on Malone for not including detailed blown up pictures. My wife and I about gave up. I'm glad we didn't, but we were close. You will need a good socket set and a helper. Assembly is not for the faint of heart. Other than these issues, the trailer is very good.

Easy to assemble, and great for light weight cargo as well.

Honestly I wish there was something other than this product to purchase in store. Terrible instructions and came with faulty wiring

The trailer is easy to assemble. It just takes a little while to assemble. It is very sturdy and love having a handle. That makes it easy to maneuver to the trailer ball.
