Markal brand chalk is my go to, the other brands of railroad chalk break to easy. We wet it to get it to stay in concrete longer than dry chalk and other chalk smooshes when wet. This is a good dense chalk.

If you’re a contractor, inspector, or engineer, etc, this is a great chalk marking tool. Very visible and washes away easily after rain.
