I'm not a pro, but I've installed my share of LVT and this tool makes the process much easier and faster than scoring planks. It was easy to set up and cut fine. My only criticism is there is no alignment mark for the cutting blade, so you have to lean over and eyeball the blade and your cutting line. -1 star for that reason. Overall a very good value and a required investment for any job requiring more than a few cuts.

These are very handy if you're doing vinyl flooring. The blade is extremely sharp. I nicked my thumb removing the blade cover the first day. Works well, I've laid about 1000 square foot of flooring and the blade is still sharp.

Never used a flooring cutter before decided to give this one a try since I know the MARSHALLTOWN brand is known for quality products. The flooring cutter is great , the cuts are sharp and accurate. Durability seems great so far. No mess to clean up after using it. Overall happy . Comes disassembled but only takes 2 minutes to put together. Also included you have a stone to sharpen the blade is needed. Only used it once on LVP but will update the review in time with different thicknesses of material.

This was easy to use and made perfect cuts to vinyl planks I used to replace my floor. Cuts through the Mannington Acura Max great!Price was a good, and a good investment

Put down 2200sqft no issues. I sharpened it a few times in the beginning but it came w a sharpening stone. Very good for the price and for someone not laying floor every day.

I had installed several houses of LVP using a power mitre saw. This created a tremendous amount of shards when cutting and threw debris everywhere. This tool eliminated that problem! Stayed sharp through over 2000 square feet. Didn’t even need the extra blade I purchased! High recommendation.

This vinyl floor plank cutter is awesome ! It made super clean cuts on the planks that have underlay attached, and is easy to use. It made quick work of replacing our old flooring. It is easy to move around with you as you are laying down flooring. Just for the job we did laying down about 700 sq ft, this is worth buying.

Used this to cut hybrid wall panels (same as hybrid floors, but for walls).This cutter has handled them with ease. I bought it for ease of cutting, but quickly realised just how clean the cut looks. No way I would get this clean looking cut if I was scoring with knife or using a saw.I'm about to install hybrid floors as well shortly. I'm looking forward to this, after a very easy install of the walls.The only negative I can think of was the delivery wait time. Took over a month to get mine delivered to Sydney/AU.Otherwise, I'd buy this cutter again for sure!
