I ordered these for my son to wear for teener baseball. He likes the fit and finds them very comfortable. The sides of these offer more protection that your usual sliding short. They are a little more padded, which we both like. I enjoy the padding because it offers peace of mind with all that sliding happening. Marucci is a respected brand in the baseball world, so it's a win!

Greats slider pants. Only issue is the front pocket is a little small for the athletic cup. Quality product that lasts a while.

Purchased for my sons (2020 COVID) 11U season this year. Selected Adult-Small. He's 5'2 and thin and I thought they could have been a-little longer in leg length. His previous 2 pairs I've purchased (both Nike) were a little longer. The side padding is a diamond weave pattern and is thicker than some, but not bulky. He wore them for the shortened season this year and was happy with them (mostly because of the "MaruccI" name I think) and has not switched back to his other pairs. He did say his cup (which we went to an 11-14 year size) slid up when he is catching and was uncomfortable. So, I don't know if it's just he needs get-used to a larger cup size or if the pocket in the slider pants needs to be a little larger so the cup doesn't ride up.(?)The quality is well made and sturdy. They have been washed many times; however I only line dry. I would purchase again, but wondering if going up the next size might be something to consider for leg length and cup holder size.
