It’s absolutely beautiful! My daughter in law was thrilled with this—she tosses a bunch of veggies and proteins every day with lots of extra add-ins, and this is now her go-to bowl. It makes you happy just looking at it! It’s not huge, but not too small—and the color and quality are as good as it gets.

I recently bought the hedgehog bowl, the rabbit bowl and the owl bowl. I keep them on my countertop as they make me smile. They are whimsical and beautiful. I will not use them with my electric mixer and I am going to be careful with them when using metal utensils. I do use them for light mixing with a wooden spoon, however. I ordered and then cancelled the .95 quart fox bowl when I saw that it was made in China. I would have loved to order the gingerbread bowl and accessories for my granddaughter to use with our Christmas baking but will not because it, also, is made in China. I am pleased with my purchase. I plan to order the 4.25 qt fox bowl in the near future. 2 out of 3 of these bowls arrived damaged. The glaze on one was cracked and the other was broken do to poor packaging. I was immediately sent replacement bowls. The bowls are worth the little bit of hassle.

This is a beautiful bowl. The color is a lovely bright green, the hedgehogs pattern is sweet. It is a great size mixing bowl for small batch or mixing dry items, or whisking eggs before adding to a larger bowl. It also looks beautiful on my table filled with Gala apples! Love it!

I love this bowl. It is a wonderful size for popcorn, mixing batter, or filling with decorative items.The quality of Mason Cash is outstanding and while it does not come in any retail packaging, there is a very attractive and quality label affixed to it.This is the smallest bowl in a limited series. It is quite attractive paired with the rectangular ivory colored server and the significantly larger cream colored mixing bowl.

Like another reviewer, I also received my "In the Forest Hedgehog" bowl with a large chip along the rim and a crack that extended downward from the chip. I was very disapponted since the bowl itself is a pretty little thing--perfect size and depth and a lovely shade of spring green. I thought about replacing it instead of just returning it, but the overall weight of the bowl changed my mind. Given how easily it chipped in shipping, I don't think the bowl could withstand more than light or decorative use. It has none of the heft of a friend's old original Mason Cash bowl (which was made in England, incidentally, not Portugal, as the Hedgehog bowl was). The stoneware of this bowl is not very high quality. Honestly, I could expect to find an earthenware bowl of similar style and quality at Cost Plus for half the cost.As a side note, the bright orange "FRAGILE" sticker on the shipping box was completely covered by the address sticker. I doubt a visible sticker would have prevented the breakage in shipping, but it was an eye-rolling packaging error.

I keep hearing how these bowls are flimsy, etc. in other reviews....I did not find that at all. This bowl seems substantial and as I have the other three, completes my set. This bowl are adorable, whimsical and a total delight. They go from table to work without issue. I do not think that I would use an electric mixer in them, would use a heavier ceramic or metal for that. However, these are great steamer, potato salad or quick stir bowls for pretty much any need. I always use melamine, silicone or rubber spoons, so the insides stay clean and perfect. I really enjoy mine!

I had a complete set and one dropped on floor so I needed replacement. That is the only downside they are breakable but they are truest the best bowls ever!! So beautiful. I will buy another in a different size.

I am very pleased with this little mixing bowl. I have had a set of the classic Mason Cash "cane" mixing bowls for over 20 years, but recently decided that having another small one would be very handy. It is not the classic shape of the cane bowls, but I actually like this shape better. It's a little deeper and little narrower, making it better for doing such things as mashing potatoes and beating batter. I have attached a picture of the hedgehog bowl and the cane bowl to show the difference.That said, I do have one caveat. Although I have had Mason Cash bowls for a long time, I am on my second set. The original bowls cracked and broke over the years and needed to be replaced. When I purchased a replacement bowl a few years ago, I found that Mason Cash had changed the specs they use for the bowls: The walls of the bowls are much thinner than those of the original bowls. I have not had to replace the newer bowls yet, but I am concerned that they may be more prone to breakage rather than less. But so far, so good, and I am enjoying this bowl very much.

Ich habe 3 Schüsseln von Mason Cash bestellt und musste leider alle 3 zurückschicken, weil sie zerbrochen angekommen sind. Teilweise lagen sie aber auch lose im Karton drin von daher wundert es einen nicht. Trotzdem gebe ich fünf Sterne denn ich bewerte hier ja das Produkt und nicht den Versand.Die Schüsseln sind echt schön und sehr detailliert verarbeitet. An der Verarbeitung selbst gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Ich hätte es gerne behalten. Viel Glück bei der Bestellung!
