This product is a set of drill bits that is designed for use on hard masonry-type surfaces. These drill bits use a YG8 tungsten carbide steel insert in the tip of each drill bit to attack the hard masonry-type surfaces. The drill bits utilize three flats on the drive end of the bit to engage with the three-jaw chucks of must drills and drill-drivers. The drills also use a double-helix flute design to remove the masonry dust removed from the surface being drilled by the drill tip.This set of drills includes seven sizes and a total of twelve bits. These bits are suitable for drilling hard materials like glass, brick, cement, wood, and tile. They may also be used for drilling softer materials like plastic and wood. Generally, they are not acceptable for drilling metal substrates, unless the material is quite soft with a hardness of less than 38 on the Rockwell “C†hardness scale. The drills are supplied in case that is reasonably easy to slide open and provides a safe and secure place to store these drills.I like these drill bits and ordered them specifically to drill into my brick façade to install insulators for my hose connections. Then it snowed and then I got the drills! Oh, bother! Next time I will order items I need in a timelier manner. I guess I will be working outside once the snow melts and I hope that my faucets do not freeze in the interim. I believe that these drills will make the drilling part of the job fairly easy to accomplish.

Pretty good drill bits overall. They work well on most materials I've tried them on, especially wood and tile. The case is nice and keeps everything organized. One bit did seem a little bit duller than the others out of the box, but nothing a quick sharpening couldn't fix. Good value for the money I think. A few of the smaller sizes are a little fiddly to use, but that's probably just me.

I bought these to drill through some brick in my house and these have several sizes so you can start with a thin bit and sort of "sneak up" on the size hole you need. With masonry, I often drill a larger hole than I need by accident so having a set like this is helpful for a DIY guy like me.The quality seems fine so far. I drilled four holes and then widened them with two enlargements. It worked great. They have good grooves for getting the dust out of the hole but with all bits in my experience, it's best to stop every 1/2" of hole and blow out the debris. It goes faster that way.After the holes were drilled, I didn't see any signifcant dulling or chips to the naked eye. I don't have enough experience to tell you if these will last a long time. I'm sure they're not as good as the expensive ones at the store but for me, they're great and I'm happy.I would buy these again and I recommend them.

Decent set of masonry drills for the DIYer. I used one on brick and it worked fine, I'm sure it would drill concrete if it had to. These are budget drill bits so I don't expect them to last as long as Pro Quality bits but they are perfect for Home use and no doubt will pay for themselves. Worth the money.

I tested these out in some concrete block in my garage. I was hanging shelves I needed to pre-drill for some tapcons. The drill bits function very well, and are very durable. I didn't see any signs of premature wear, and the holes they drilled were nice and neat.

This is a decent variety of masonry drill bits and good value for the money. Just sometime ago I had to buy one drill bit in a hardware store, and it did cost me about half the price of this whole set. Considering that there are 10 drill bits in the set, this is a good value for the money. Nice variety of sizes, except there are five 1/4" bits (no complaints there, that size is quite popular). All drill bits came in a nice plastic case. So far I used one bit to drill two holes in a brick wall. It worked fine, and I assume the other ones would perform just like it.
