This is a really nice-looking turtle spitter and seems very well made. It's heavy (9 pounds) which is great for my purposes. My use is different than most - it shoots water from a high-pressure water hose connection (not a pump) about 15 feet through the air to top up my swimming pool when needed. Two minor issues when used for this purpose. Because of the high pressure I had to have hose clamps where the hose attaches underneath in a cavity in the turtle. There was plenty of room for the clamps but tightening them was a little tricky and required a 1/4 inch wrench which I had to buy for the project despite being a well-supplied tool aficionado. I also had better luck using 3/8 gas line rather than plastic tubing. All in all, I love it and highly recommend it.

Pretty pricey but is exactly what I wanted for my water feature. It is solid and should last a long time unlike my previous spitter. The connection in back for the tubing is not barbed and it was a little tough getting a hose clamp on it, but other than that I'm happy with it.
