I like to look through reviews and descriptions to make sure i’m really getting something Good with my purchase. Very safe to say I won’t be needing another backpack for a very long time The bag is durable, Pockets are DEEP and comfortably placed. An X-L is the PERFECT size for anyone in high school, college, looking for a computer bag, airplane travel, Or just a cool packpack. There is AMPLE room for clothes and even with that leaving room for more things to fit inside.Value for money is incredible.The bag LOOKS SICK. I got mine in black so i can only imagine the other colors Every zipper is strong and pretty theft proof, anyone trying to steal anything will have to do some looking around first, and even with that there isn’t any ways of just reaching and grabbing personal belongings without them having to move something out of the way or being forced to try and unzip the bag.Weight is great, nothing insane or ground breaking, but still comfortable and breathable.Genuinely a fire backpack thag i’m glad I found, literally is perfect for anything

One of my favorite travel purchases in decades, no joke. I've gone through so many various "weekender" bags, and I've really liked and continue to use at least one of them for shorter trips, but none are as functional as these Matein bags. They open like luggage, hold a ton, compress well, are durable, versatile and look just like a regular 'ol, nondescript backpack so that when traveling on budget airlines that are picky about the size of a personal item, they don't attract attention (provided you don't get them in the louder colors) so that you can skate by the gate agents, even if the bags are a bit too big or overstuffed.We were able to take a 2-week trip through Spain with enough clothing and shoes to take us from 50-something degree, rainy weather (read: bulky, warm clothes and shoes) to mid-70s weather, each armed with a 20" hard-sided carry-on, plus this bag. No checked bags and lost luggage for this couple, no siree!A couple things that other similar bags offer that I sort of wish this bag did: a charging port and a cup holder. But the charging port is just one more thing that has the potential to fail and become useless, so it's not a huge loss for me. Neither is the lack of cupholder, as it would hinder the ability to use the compression straps on the sides of the bag, so I understand the design choice.After purchasing my original bag in black, I purchased a couple other similar bags that did offer these features to compare, and kept going back to the Matein for weight, style, comfort and functionality. Again, I preferred it so much that I bought a second one in blue for the hubs.If something were to happen to this bag, I would 1000% replace it with the same brand. I cannot recommend it enough, and honestly try to find reasons to get away more (hah) so that I can use this bag because it's so thrilling to me to be able to pack it to the brim and still feel comfortable carrying it on my back.

This suitcase was the best. Got it for my husband who by co-incidence had gotten himself a backpack the same day. He decided to keep his so i had to return mine. However, it s the best backpack/suitcase for traveling, you can hold it both ways, and the suitcase part is very neat, has a super nice and large storage space that you wont even guess from outside. The backpack part has a lot of pockets for all kinds if electronics and other stuff. The material is great for traveling as well, sturdy and navy color is so stylish. I wish my husband kept it. The only reason i didnt keep it for myself was that i prefer to not carry any weight on my shoulders when im traveling.

Great travel bag. Very simple but works well for up to 10 days of clothing and essentials. I use the smaller front pocket for travel needs, charger, cords, chapstick, iPods, etc. The the second pocket holds my iPad in my padded envelope and has additional zippered pockets for your passport , pen, money whatever travel essentials you need to get too quickly. The main compartment itself holds a good amount of clothing in compression cubes. There is a zippered section where you can put your toiletries. It doesn’t come with a waterproof pocket of any sort however, I just take gallon size baggies. The side straps tighten the bag down so you can make sure everything fits. I’ve used the extender zipper section and still not had a problem with it. fitting in on Spirit as a personal item. I do make sure that there is enough room in the very top portion that I can slip a decent size purse into for boarding if I need to. Overall great bag for the money love it highly recommended to several of my friends.

Works well. I can pack a change of clothes along with my computer and some other things I travel with. This is the large, not extra large, backpack. I like that the straps can be folded inside it their own compartment. It’s helps when the backpack has to be put in the overhead or under the seat on an airplane. I would like this better if it had a bottle holder and dedicated pocket for the laptop. But, it does a good job for my business travel.

It easily fit under every seat and every airplane (both big and small planes). It has more room than you would think, and I easily fit all of my things into it. It has so many pockets, which is perfect to divide all your stuff! I felt very comfortable when I wore it as a backpack on both shoulders. It was easy to carry and maneuver. Very good quality, I have used it for many trips and love it!

I bought this backpack/bag for travel. I needed a light weight bag to take that could be fully opened up-not stuffed through the top. The bag has lots of pockets, easy to open & close-easy to pack & unpack. Can enlarge the bag further if needed to a small suitcase. I loved that it was lightweight, easy to carry-with handles on the side & top. It has the backpack straps too, although I didn't carry the bag that way, my husband did. I bought the blue so it would be easier to see than the black. Much easier to use than my wheelie. Easy to wipe clean. Highly recommend!!!

Hard to pinpoint best feature. great organizational options, as large as a regular carry on but so much lighter (2.14 lbs. Material is lovely. Quality a real surprise. Would purchase again.

Compré la mochila para usarla en el avión por tener forma de apertura como una maleta y aprovechar mejor el espacio, tiene expansible por lo que puedes meter más cosas. Adquirà el tamaño grande y no tuve problemas en el avión y si cabÃa debajo del asiento. Tiene muchos compartimientos. Lo que pudiera mejorar con respecto a otros es un compartimiento dedicado para laptop ( pero si no viajas con ella no importa ) y uno externo para meter botella de agua … en gral contenta con el producto

Loved the versatility of the straps, lots of storage space especially if you use packing cubes and use the inside tie down clasps. Side loading made life easier for a long trip. Well dispersed weight with the chest straps and overall comfy straps. Loved the plain black as I ironed on patches to make it unique. Carry on approved for a number of major airlines and trains etc fits under the seat easily. The two handle options came in easy for bus & train on boarding so you can carry like a suitcase up stairs if desired.We travelled in the summer so not sure how well this would work for outerwear etc though as it would have significantly less space...Overall I'd recommend and reuse for sure.
