I was looking to downsize my larger backpack for day trips. This is the perfect size and good looking. The clasps are plastic, so hopefully hold up over the long term. But for the price it's as expected. Took me a little bit to get the straps adjusted to where I want. Overall I recommend.

-Access hole:I was looking for a bag like this because I could run my own cords through the access hole to charge my devices. Specifically, USB C cords with power delivery for my bigger electronics. The access hole is very small, I could hardly get the USB C cable through. I tried removing it on the plane, but couldn't till I had more room to really force it.-Water bottles:The bottle holders can fit a plastic standard water bottle, anything else and it likely won't work. I have one of the slimmest 16 oz metal water bottles you can get, and even that wouldn't fit. I managed to twist and lodge it in there and its been like that for a few weeks in hopes it will stretch it a bit. If you have a cord going out the access hole, one of the bottle holders is not usuable.-Laptop compartment:It serves its purpose, it seems decently padded, and it is easy to pull the laptop in and out. However, it is made for very large laptops, like 17"+ and my smaller 15" laptop is very loose. There is a Velcro to keep in place, but it can't tighten enough for anything smaller than a 17" laptop.-Look and feel:Looks and feels great. The pictures make it seem huge but that's not the case. Smooth texture on the bottom, and color is nice. Very aesthetically pleasing in my opinion. I've never had any problems with the backpack feeling uncomfortable. Everything feels well made while using it.-Pockets:Not a lot of specific pockets. Just a few big pockets in each section. No pencil holders or anything like that. Definitely something that could have been improved on. Feels like everything I put in there was like throwing it in a draw string bag, hard to keep things organized.-Size:Looking at it, it seems like a standard sized bag, but there is a ton of room in this thing. I didn't need the expandable section but it's nice to know it's there. If you are looking for something to hold a lot, but doesn't look huge, this is it.In summary, there are a few things I can pick out that should have been better, but this has a lot of the features I was looking for. I would get it again over some of the more expensive bags out there.

With some effort I was able to stretch the zipper of the bag enough to barely fit my 17.3" Acer laptop inside the bag, but because the zipper is stretched so tightly over the corners of my laptop it scratches my laptop as the bag moves around. If there was maybe another half inch of material I wouldn't have any reason to complain, but as-is it's way too tight to consider it a "fit".Otherwise this is a great bag! The build quality is very nice, the arm straps are well-padded and comfortable, and I really like how it expands to allow for more space in the main compartment.Not sure if 3 stars is correct, but I hope this review helps other people considering the purchase.

Size of pockets are impractical. Can’t even fit pens or lip gloss properly in the front. Straps are super thin. I can’t imagine this lasting more than 3 months. I had my bag for 10 yrs so far in comparison. The webbing in the back is like paper thin. Nope returning. Keeping old one. I think I can still squeeze in 5 years from it with a couple of stitches here and there

I literally fall in love with this backpack. It is super useful and such a smart design. It is perfect for school, work and of course travel. I love the material of it and zippers are so soft. The bottom part is very nice and easy to clean. It is the only backpack that I saw this much high quality and pretty good price on Amazon. Perfect product! I will try their other bags in the future for sure. So happy to get that. THANK YOU!!

its the perfect size and fits well for the free carry on requirements for airlines-if you are travelling for a short trip and want to take few clothes and your electronics this is a perfect bagthe 17.3 inch laptop fits well in the bigger sizeis light weight and easy on your shoulders.the design is perfect and the built quality is strong.
