I have a DVD/VHS recorder and player, and these DVD-RW discs by Maxell will get a workout. I record several shows a day, and my brother and I trade them with each other to watch on our two tvs. You can record multiple times on each disc and I've had no quality problems with playback. I've purchased more Maxell DVDs to record shows to keep in our collection.

This is, of course, a very good product and the price was good as well. The only problem is that the shipping & handling charges almost doubled my cost. I just didn't need any other things (like this) at the time to have shipped together with my discs and therefore make my purchase a little more reasonable. I'm happy with the discs; I needed them.

I have had a good experience with this product, and out of 150+ that I've used, not one of them malfunctioned in my Toshiba DVD recorder, and I recorded four movies a night on one disc, and they all came out good, and I was able to edit them just fine. I will continue to buy them, and would say yes on advising someone else to do so.Gary

This is not the product I wanted. This was a complete failure. I wanted the mini-DVDs (DVD-RW) for my ten-year-old Sony Handycam.This was a wasted purchase. Now I'm stuck with something I don't need and I still didn't get what I wanted.There was no way to tell if these were the right DVDs. The weren't. What a wasted purchase!

don't expect the quality of DVD+RW, they're ok, if you can't find anything else

You can always count on 2x Maxwell DVD-RW discs to get the job done. I purchased these for use in our video surveillance system's DVR which can only record video to DVDs. These allowed me to leave the same discs in the system and use them over and over.

The price could be lower, but it definitely helped when I needed a disk to hold an installation of windows 7, when my computer struck dead. I would recommend if indeed you need an installation of a disk.
