The threaded hitch design ensures that the Bike Rack stays in place and does not allow any movement during travels. Includes both locking head and hitch pin clip for an extra level of safety, so even if the locking head is lost, the hitch pin clip still allows it to stay in place. Locking head can be turned 360 degrees for easy access and also has a dust cap/cover to prevent dust, dirt, grime, or any other form of outside element from entering the keyhole, further prolonging the product's lifespan. These hitch pins don’t work with every hitch rack. Just thought I’d let people know that it does work with the the three racks that Young Electric currently sells. Actually I can only verify the SOLE model, which is their single bike carrier. The trick is that both the rack and pin have 16mmthreads with a 2mm pitch. Anyway it works good and is priced right. Does not come with a locking washer though and it is recommended to use one.

I like the fact that this was a key lock to secure our bike rack. The screw threads fit just right into our hemiway bike rack. The key fits easily into the lock. The dust for the lock cover is nice. I wish the pin would have come with a locking washer to keep pressure on the screw so that it does not loosen, but this is an easy fix. I am glad that it comes with two keys.

This lock is great if it fits your hitch and bike rack. It was too big for my bike rack I have the small 2 bike rack from MaxHaul #50025 and it didn't fit. I wish they made a smaller one for my rack, I liked the product

The locking portion is plastic and pot metal, I’m sure it wouldn’t take more than one good hit from a small hammer to break it open.

So happy this locking hitch pin works on Elevate. I bought the Elevate Cargo Carrier with Bike Rack Part BCCB-1169 and the connector is threaded. Standard universal locking pins won't fit. So happy this one fits perfectly!

That was a pain to find a M16 bolt with a lock. I finally found this one and it fit perfecly on my Meeviz bike rack to replace the original M16 non-locking bolt.So I guess it will fit fine if you have to replace any M16 bolt on a 2Â inch hitch.Quality seems really good, worth it, will buy again.Only con : it not come with any washer, so you have to use your old one or go buy one at the store.

The item is a well constructed lock for a car bike rack. It is however, not as it was shown in the picture. It is not threaded on the end of the shank near the cotter pin. I needed to jury rig a piece of copper tubing and a bolt to get it to snug up and not slip.
