BLOWER MOTOR REPLACE STEPS:
1.Detach the cover from the bottom of the lower dash—it’s usually held in place by screws or clips. The blower motor will be attached at the bottom of the climate control unit, usually with screws.
2.Disconnect the wires from the blower motor.
3.Remove the screws holding the blower motor to the climate control unit.
4.Carefully slide the motor out of the housing. There will be a plastic wheel on the far side of the motor.
5.Gently work the plastic wheel off of the shaft.
6.If applicable, attach the blower wheel to the new motor using the spring clip.
7.Reinstall the motor into the climate control unit.
8.Once it’s secure, reconnect the wires.
9.Check the function of your new motor for noise and vibration.
10.Reattach the cover under the dash.

The fan is balanced as is evident with the two metal balancing clips on the blades. Practically no noise and good air flow at the different fan settings. Fits 2008 Honda Accord 6 cylinder.

Bought this replacement for my 11 Honda Accord SE 2.4L. Easy install, it fits and functions. Only reason I gave it a 4/5 is because it’s a little louder than OEM.

I bought one of these for our 2013 Ford Fusion, installed it, and while it blew air again (and I was excited to have A/C again in the Florida heat), it was noticeably noisier than the factory original. Low and medium speeds were most noticeable. I would maybe be OK with that for the price compared to OEM, but then I noticed that it would never go above a medium/high speed to full high or MAX, which is important here in Florida.So I requested a return and replacement from Amazon, which of course is processed quickly and easily with Prime, but the replacement does the exact same thing. Same noise level, and same inability to blow anywhere near as much air.When looking at the OEM vs the replacement, their is an air "port" on the side of the fan. This is noticeably smaller on this cheaper replacement than the original factory part. That would seem to be impactful to both the noisiness of the fan and inability to blow enough air, but I am no expert.So I now have to order another blower, this time the OEM at 2.5x the price, and when it gets here swap it in and remove and return this 2nd one.
