I had roll pins to punch out on an excavator bucket and they simply would not budge using a 1/4†punch and hammer. Broke to punch's trying knock out these roll pins. Roll pins are very hard steel. This bit has a small hardened steel ball that keeps it centered in the roll pin. A very solid, well made bit for my MAC tool air hammer! This brand is top notch. Never heard of Mayhew tools and now I know SOLID tools.

I didn’t know these existed. I have a John Deere garden tractor with a quick hitch that has a few roll pins in it. I wasted way too much time with a hammer and chisel trying to get them removed. I read about this, bought it on Amazon, added to my air hammer and in about thirty seconds all 4 of them were removed!!!!

Precisely what I needed to drive out a completely seized lower shock bolt. After trying unsuccessfully with some of the accessories that came with my air hammer, which turned out to be softer steel, I gave this a try, and finally managed to drive it out. Perfect!
