We have a Great Dane puppy (14 most) & needed a padded slip collar for an AKC CGC test we were taking after a 6 week class. AKC only allows certain collars for testing. I purchased this collar after research. It's comfortable, stays in place on her neck with a piece of adjustable leather, so the collar doesn't continue to drop down in her lower neck & choke her. Collar has a strong hook ring to connect the leash. Overall a sturdy, comfortable slip collar that's good for obedience training.

Very durable collar. I have bought two now so I can keep one at camp. When then get soiled, I just put them in the washer and they cum out like brand new. Highly recommend

So I walked both dogs with this collar. Both are 70lb pitbulls. Ones a massive puller and always has to be trying to lead the way (boy) The other ( girl )not so much. The thickness is great. Seems to be good quality. Looks to be comfortable and works decent for walking my girl dog. When I tried walking the boy the collar seemed to stretch which made him choke but keep pulling. I had to keep moving it up his neck every 20 ft to keep it right by his ears. I couldn't gain control over him what so ever. This collar was meant for him but we need a more stable material. I'm sure this would work good for dogs that are already walk trained. Not durable enough for the dogs that are reactive or need better manners on a leash. I have a slip rope leash that works much better then this and was only 6 dollars more. Just add a comparison. I think this would be better suited for puppies or smaller dogs.

I am very impressed with the quality and I really like the thickness of the cord, but even for the smaller size I feel like I have too much slack. However, my standard poodle only has a 14" neck so I'm sure this aspect varies with each dog that uses it. Overall, I'm very satisfied and want to get it in more colors.

I got these for my big Pit and shepherd dogs for when in public. They are both will behaved but are just too friendly. These are easier on the animal and have just a little give but are very strong. I love that a can color match the chokers to the leash and dog.

My Malinois is 1 year old. I will use this around my house for quick corrections. The 24†length is a bit short to act as a standalone walking option but it is perfect for a quick correction around the house. I put it on to instruct him and guide him. Then i take it off. I will also use this in combination with his harness when i do go on walks, so that while i use my long leash, i can clip onto this slip-collar and correct behavior on the fly.

This collar is well made, but is too “stretchy†for training. I kept it, but don’t ever use it.

Nice bright colour, sturdy & good to use with any clip on lead you may have,Yet giving you the extra security of a slip lead.Useful item to have within your dogs collar & Lead options.
