I’ve had this on our Roamer for over a month now. He gets multiple walks each week. He’s caught on to the clicks of the chain for correction. This is highly adjustable. I love the tag silencer, loop, and the chain. It works great for me.

I purchased another collar just like this one. I have used this collar on all my dogs for the past 15 years. I love this collar. Very sturdy, my Dobermans have never broken any of these collars. It is a half-woven collar and half-choker chain with extra reinforcement. I had to replace the collar as the tag attachment broke off. I bought another collar just like this one. This collar is great. I bought a second one in a different color. My dog kept squirming out of her collar, but she can't pull out of this one. I do clean the collar in dish liquid cleaner periodically and it come out looking good.

We took our 58 lb ACD mix to a training facility that used a choke collar, I wasn't crazy about using the choke collar but I felt a martingale would be a more humane choice and would still let us have better control over our dog than the front clip harness we had been using previously. In the past, our dog has managed to break out of Martingale collars by kicking at the buckle, so I wanted to find something with either a very secure buckle or no buckle at all. I don't have the exact neck measurement of my pup handy, and he's pretty fluffy (part Golden) We have this color on the tightest setting, it still comfortably slips on and off his head when we are putting it on and taking it off but he is not able to remove it on its own.I can't say for certain since I don't have the measurements but I do think this collar runs big. I suspect we would be able to tighten it another half inch and still have it slip on and off his head easily without being too snug, but the rubberized logo piece gets in the way.I do otherwise really like the design, the colors are very handsome and it looks like something from REI. The tag silencer is a nice idea but kind of silly on a collar with a chain.

Very nice collar! It took me a while to find a collar I wanted for my dog, I didn’t want just a chain that would hurt or pull on him when he pulled on the leash. But I also didn’t want just a cloth martigale either since they can slip off easy. This one is perfect, I think I’ve had it for 3 years now and it’s still in great condition! Looking foward to buying a new one with a different design!

Went with the 14â€-20†for my 9 month lab/golden mix and there’s still lots of room to be able to make it larger if he ends up filling out a bit more. I have it tightened almost as much as it can go so that there’s still room to slip it off him. But it fits perfectly and there’s no need to go up another size.

The collar is well made and has nice features such as a rubber disc to reduce the noise of licence disks rattling. I would have liked a lighter chain with smaller rings as the current offering, although very strong, is very heavy.This collar is 1" wide and is okay. My preference was for half inch or 3/4 inch but there was not these options available.There is a thin reflective strip on the collar which really works well in low light to make the dog more visible to motorists.Altogether I would recommend this collar - it is as described on the product page, is good quality and arrived earlier than anticipated. Good service.
