It does the job intended for but be careful not to over tighten the large nut. Mine snapped off. Good thing I ordered 2. Lesson learned about China reproductions of the original

After 55 years in the automotive and heavy equipment industries, I have seen good replacement parts and junk Chinese garbage! This solenoid is an exception to the rule. Converting an old Ford tractor to 12 volts.. Instead of holding tjis, pushing that and turning this, whit this unit, its like jumping into your daily driver. A turn of the key and we are ready to go drill post holes.
