At VBS this year, the leader book wanted us to hand out nails to the children! What? I hunted around for something that looked "old" and had no point. The masonry nails were perfect. With the leftovers, I may even try to fashion some into crosses.I am sorry: I have no idea how they are as masonry nails. They are strong and smooth, though.Be aware: the box is not taped shut. It was just flopping around in the packaging bag, spilling nails. This wouldn't be a problem except that the packaging bag had a hole in it! I have no idea how many were lost before they made it to my door.

I'm actually using these in wood, because I want the look of the head of the nail. I make drinking horn holders. Think vikings.. always drinking out of horns.. but not able to set them down until they are empty. These nails let me have the rustic old world.look while still providing the strength I needed.
