Mroinge MBC022 12V 2A Battery Charger is much more than a trickle charger. It has a microcomputer chip, is lightweight, compact, fully automatic and very easy to use especially in small spaces, that digitally controls the 4-stages of battery charging (Initialization, constant current, constant voltage and floating charge). the charger come with power down memory function, so the charger will re-start to charge the battery automatically when the main power recovered.

4 STAGES - STANDARD CHARGE & MAINTAIN MODES
- Initialization: Initialize diagnostic battery performance and desulfating the battery through 17V pulse.
- Bulk: Major charging stage where the battery receives the majority of its charge. During this stage the battery brought to 75 - 80% of its charger. The MBC022 charger delivers maximum current until the terminal voltage has risen to the full charge level for Normal battery.
- Absorption: Completes the charge up to virtually 100% at a constant voltage. The current tapers off after the current reached the minimum level.
- Float: Maintenance charging at constant voltage, keeping the batteries at 100% charge. Float mode chargers indefinitely without damaging the battery.
EASY TO USE
The unit has a very simple operation design, so very easy to use.
- Firstly, Connect the AC power supply.
- Secondly, Choose the right battery type( lead-acid or lithium(LiFePO4) ).
- At Last, Correct connect the battery.
IMPORTANT: When you select the charging mode, you must disconnect the battery.
The unit is built-in 2 color LED indicates stage of charging, so very easy to use.
- FLASHING RED: not charging battery, reverse battery.
- SOLID RED: battery charging.
- FLASHING GREEN: battery greater than 80% charged.
- SOLID GREEN: full charged and maintaining.

This battery charger has a soft start feature for low batteries. It worked great on my 4 lithium ion 40ah batteries (which were around 5v) to get the charging started. After the charging reached near 12v I switched over to my 15a charger to complete the charge. It also has a similar feature for lead acid batteries as well. I haven't tried that on a lead acid battery though. Thinking on getting a second one.

I've used this charger on AGM, flooded lead acid and liPo batteries. It works great. At 2A, it wouldn't charge an automotive battery, but does great with motorcycle, generator and snowblower batteries.

Bought 1 in 2022 for jon boat battery; bought a 2nd one in 2024. No issues whatsoever with this charger.

Got this to leave connected as a battery tender for my tractor. The build quality is ok. Cables are excellent but the transformer it's self is very lightweight and doesn't have a quality feel to it. It works ok but I'm not sure I'm ready to trust it connected to my battery 24/7. At this point I have the ring connectors attached to the battery to simplify charging when needed. The quick connect makes it easy to use and the wire comes with connection protection.

This is a great value. It charges either lead-acid or Lithium batteries properly, and it has both large clips and bolt attachments depending on whether you want to use it on one or more batteries. I hooked it up to my motorcycle's sealed lead-acid battery, it read it as partially charged, and as fully charged overnight. With the plug accessible from outside the battery compartment I can use it any time easily. LONG cord to the charger too. No bigger than any other trickle charger. It's just ideal.

This seller is very responsive to questions and solutions when needed. Shipment and arrival were quick, and I appreciated this seller's quick answers and suggestions I asked for - during the course of a weekend, even! One of my concerns was whether or not this unit would get hot trying to top off and keep charged this larger-than-some lithium battery. My battery is a recently acquired"Weize Lithium YTX30L-BS, 700CCA Lithium LiFePO4 YTX30L Motorcycle Battery, 12V 10AH". This charger hasn't gotten hot doing its job, as some reviewers reported. I did have an issue with this charger completely turning off after going past the "80% charged" indication (blinking green light). For the most part, the solution to this is unplugging the charger from power and plugging it back in. The seller was very helpful when I encountered this. Vs a 90-dollar Battery Tender brand that is also designed for use with lithium batteries, this unit is a great option for light charging and maintaining your battery. I don't know how well it will do to bring up a badly discharged battery at this point. I've only used it for about a week now, and if this unit craps out on me, I'll update/amend this review, but so far, so good!

Charges up many of my smaller 12V batteries without fanfare. Lawnmower lead-acid and motorcycle lithium batteries fully charged quickly. The included battery connection extension cable can be permanently attached to motorcycle battery and routed to a convenient location for charging allowing motorcycle seat to remain without disassembly. Very convenient. Happy after only 2 days use.

Did not know that I needed a different charger when I switched to the lithium battery. When I pulled it from my bike this past Winter, I had it on the standard trickle charger as I always did my previous ones. Excited as always to go for that first ride when the there's a really nice day, I dropped the battery back in the bike. She started ok, went for a nice little ride, and that was that. Parked and couldn't wait for another tease of nice weather. Got it sooner than expected and couldn't get on the bike fast enough! Um.....nothing. No turnover, no lights, just silence. Wtf did i do? Is something loose? Did something else drain the battery? Took my bike apart, checked everything while putting the battery back on the regular charger (which after just a short time showed fully charged). Tried again, still no start, nada, nothing... Well, bummer. I'm thinking I killed a new battery and have my bike parts all over the driveway, too, now.If you can't figure it out and are too stubborn to go to a mechanic like me (because, ladies, you KNOW they try to take advantage of us), you call your riding kids/brothers or go to the School of YouTube. Wow, really? Yeah, now I DO feel stupid....a battery tender made for lithium batteries because regular chargers don't have enough voltage.With this battery charger, you CAN do both! It will charge your regular battery but ups the voltage for your lithium batteries! Win Win!Go ride that vehicle!

Yes I assumed this would work on 230v. Yes I didn't read carefully enough. It blew up as soon as I plugged it in.

I feel much safer charging LiFePo in my apartment, and most good quality batteries are pretty safe but only with a proper charger! It was an e bike that set a hotel in Vancouver's east end causing a couple deaths, leaving some vulnerable people without a home as well. This is the proper charger for these batteries .I hate it when my things catch fire, cannabis excepted. And not everyone can afford insurance, but that is what this feels like to me. Insurance.
